牛车水 Murders is a new #gametours where participants are thrown into a scenario to solve puzzles. The scene is Chinatown where a serial killer is on the loose and the whole nation is gripped with fear. Participants are roped in to find the killer by solving a series of puzzles around Chinatown.
Played in teams of 2 – 5 persons, participants determine the route they take, and the choice of items to pick. Narrated throughout by our tourist guide/gamemaster, the guide will dive into a character throughout. This character has strong ties in Chinatown having lived there for 48 years and through the guide, he/she shares their affiliation through the people the guide knew and grew up with. Characters include Samsui woman Auntie Geok, moneylender friend Raj, provision shop owner Ah Kee and others.

5.00What a great way to learn a bit about the history of Chinatown. Our guide expertly wove the stories of the area into our mystery as we wandered through the area. This would be a great activity for families trying to get their children to be involved in learning about the history of their holiday destination. Highly recommend!

5.00This time I used the Singapore Rewards Program to participate in this event. It is really worth recommending! 5.00This is a must try fun experience for those who enjoy puzzles & solving mysteries. The guide was friendly. The puzzles were interesting. Total of six puzzles to solve. Ten minutes to solve each puzzle. Guide will help if needed. A card will be given after solving each puzzle. Make sure each card is different. Guide accidentaly gave the same card which made solving the last puzzle impossible... lol. Guide fixed the error though. Among the items provided for the game, it would be good to have the UV light as well. The pace was good, not too rushing or too slow. Area covered walking were manageable. Not tiring for my 10yr old. Overall, it was good fun!

5.00The experience was very fun and challenging. We enjoyed solving all the puzzles and learning about the history of Chinatown.
I think this game is very interesting as our host gave us clues if we didn’t know to answer. 5 stars

5.00Really works the brain of mine, very creative way to solve the murderer. Fun way to walk around Chinatown. He gave history of a few places we stopped at.
