What To Expect
Our Tour guide will meet you at Kusadasi Port or the lobby of Listed hotels with your name sign at pre-arranged time . Pick up time will be given during your confirmation. Kusadasi Cruise Terminal pick up time normally 30 to 45 minutes after your cruise arrival
Meryemana (The Virgin Mary's House)
Our first stop is the House of Virgin Mary. The House of Virgin Mary is located on the Aladag Mountains 5 miles away from Ephesus. At the third Ecumenical Council on 431 AD in Ephesus, it was claimed that Mary came to Ephesus with St. John in 37 A.D. and lived there until her death in 48 A.D. After the discovery of the house, the Archbishop of Izmir declared there as a place of pilgrimage in 1892. On July 26, 1967, Pope Paul VI visited this place and prayed there

5.00We had a wonderful day in Ephesus. Erden was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and personable. The car was extremely comfortable. We started the day by going to the Virgin Mary’s house early and this way beat the crowds and some of the heat. Then we continued on to the Ephesus site. Learning all about the history and culture was fantastic. We did not want to to go to the rug shop or see a fashion show but we did want to go to the ceramics (pottery) factory. We loved it there, saw a demonstration and bought some beautiful pieces. We finished by going to the Temple of Athena. On the drive back to the port we even saw some flamingos. It was a fabulous day, catered to our interests. Highly recommend Erden and this tour.
