Visit the most emblematic D-DAY sites with a professional English speaking driver guide. Departing from Bayeux, you will reach Normandy's Coastal battlefield grounds in a comfortable and fully equipped 8 or 19 seater vehicle. This tour features a stop at Omaha Beach that will include informative commentaries by your guide. You will then move on to the Pointe du Hoc landing area where the US Rangers assault group captured the area after scaling the cliffs. End the tour with a stop at the Normandy American Cemetery.

5.00Our tour guide, Paschal, was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the sites. He gave a great overview of each site as well as some personal stories of some of the fallen and their families. He also had pictures to show us. Most of all, we really appreciate his patience with our 88 year old dad who Is losing his eye sight and has difficulty walking.

5.00Matt put his heart and soul into the tour, he was extremely knowledgeable and engaging on the topic and was truly respectful of the history, Matt told us some stories of having veterans on his tour and it was just wonderful to hear about their experiences through Matt, which made our trip even more memorable. The history of how these young men reacted to their situations and their heroics was just breathtaking, clearly the best tour we have ever taken and Matt is the GOAT of all story tellers. 5.00Matt went above and beyond all of our expectations in every way. His historical and military knowledge of D-Day is absolutely incredible, the result of interviews with first-hand witnesses - including Normandy locals and D-Day veterans - and rigorous academic study. It isn't all facts and figures, though. Matt's tour brings a very Human perspective of D-Day through masterful storytelling giving an immersive experience we've never seen anywhere else. The tour is clearly years in the making, and we are so proud that Matt continues his pursuit to keep our shared History of defending Freedom alive.

5.00We booked a half day tour and had a really good experience! Guillaume was the best tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and personalized our tour to exactly what we wanted and gave us a good amount of time at each stop. He kept us entertained with historical stories while we drove from place to place in the comfortable van. He also used a helpful flip book to show pictures that illustrated the stories he told. Guillaume not only answered any questions we had but also provided us with tips and recommendations for things to do in Bayeux and Mont Saint-Michel! Would highly recommend the tour and Guillaume!

5.00Good evening , In regards to our tour with Matt, we would like to say he was an absolute joy to be with and we couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. Matt was first and foremost a courteous and honorable person but an incredible guide. He was so knowledgeable and brought the tour to life and gave it incredible depth ! His knowledge evoked raw emotion to what we saw and experienced! There’s no doubt that he had researched and learned every possible aspect of not just our tour, but the experience we had! 5.00My wife, 32 year old son, and I very much enjoyed our 4 hour tour with Matt, in my wife’s and my case our first visit to the Normandy US D-Day beaches. Our son had visited with his grandparents two decades ago. We were joined by another American family of 5. Matt did an exceptional job of communicating more than the simple history of those events, but rather took the unusual approach of examining the perspectives of German, French, British, and other participants as well as of the Americans, while fully bringing us to an emotional climax on Omaha Beach, following taps and the lowering of Old Glory at the American Cemetery. Very moving. Matt’s dozen years of leading this tour and passion for the subject were evident as his knowledge was both exhaustive and intimate, infused by personal stories of his interviews with villagers who had been children at the time, a soldier who had been in the second wave at Omaha, and his own personal views. This was not a tour repeating information out of a book or a movie, but rather an intimate examination of the strategies and experiences from varying perspectives through the lens of someone deeply committed to sharing his passion for the subject. Terrific. Our only regret was not having more time!
