  Price was too high, when I got there prices posted had 4 levels, on the internet only two. On the internet the. Cruise to Alcatraz only included a Bay cruise under the Golden Gate Bridge at an addtional price. I took that one because all we wanted to see was Alcatraz. I was told by one of your people on the phone that the tour went from Pier 33 to Alcatraz, to Golden Gate then to Pier 39. That did not happen. The boat that came to Alcatraz took us straight to Pier 33. I was happy about that. There was NO signage telling us were to go for the trip under the Golden Gate bridge . I hated not getting tickets when requested, had to wait until you sent me a link, then I had to sign up for your link, then I could get tickets I had purchased. At Pier 33 we first saw Alcatraz Cruises, the door was locked! Walked down & found where your area was, we then had to get tickets, move along & show tickets to the person who was verifying them. Not one of them told us how to get on the GG bridge cruise. I would say Viator was the big problem. It is not run well or efficiently. We loved the tour at Alcatraz, they had good coverage of people telling us stories when asked, the grounds were beautiful, lots of flowers. My family was going for the first time, they loved it. My problem was why did I have to pay for a Bay Cruise I never wanted! And why did I have to pay more for 2 seniors & 2 children under 12! My cost was over $500! Julie Burkhart

  Well worth doing. It is interesting to find out how some of the prisoners escaped and what tools they used.

  The tour of Alcatraz was amazing. Boat ride was nice. The staff was courteous Special shout out to the snack stand group!!!.

  Great excursion! Loved the ferry ride to Alcatraz and was nice you could go at your own pace and return at your leisure We also did the ferry ride under the Golden Gate Bridge which was supposed to be an evening cruise but it’s not dark at 5pm or 6:30 so we didn’t get the experience we thought we were going to get but it was still informative and nice!

  The best experience ever. Audio tour was great, it gave you some idea on how the prisoners lived. The cells were so small. You have to visit to appreciate the place. I’d go back again and again.
