This is a unique tour package to visit both the Alcatraz Island and the Golden Gate Bridge! For the Alcatraz tour, you will first take a short ferry ride from Pier 33 to the Alcatraz Island, where you can walk around the Island freely at your own pace and follow a 45-minutes award-winning audio tour in multiple languages of the Alcatraz Prison Cellhouse. You can hop on to any returning ferry when you are finish touring the Alcatraz Island. For the San Francisco Bay Cruise Tour, it will start near Pier 39 where just a short walk from Pier 33 Alcatraz Landing. During this 60-minute Bay Cruise Tour, you will tour around the Alcatraz Island and under the famous Golden Gate Bridge, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of San Francisco and its bay!
Tips: You can do the Bay Cruise Tour before the Alcatraz Tour, or on a different date! There are multiple departures daily and your Bay Cruise voucher is valid for any date, any departure time

4.00I like how you toured Alcatraz at your own pace. The prison itself, with the audio guide was nice to experience. Locating the correct dock at Pier 39 for the San Francisco Bay tour can be difficult. We used the hop on hop off bus the previous day to make sure we knew where to go. We enjoyed this part of the tour too.

5.00Nice experience. The Alcatraz audio tour is superb. Very well narrated. Enough time to enjoy Alcatraz and then to finish up with the cruise under the Giolden Gates bridge. Perfect opportunity to take the most instagram worthy pictures.

2.00The island Alcatraz is amazing but the line for the weight and the disorganization of the ticket company makes for a very frustrating day for anyone involved

5.00A trolley is available for people with disabilities. It takes you from the dock to Alcatraz’s entrance. There are many steps up to the exercise yard so it’s good to take a carer with you to take photos of it. The self-guided tour is well narrated. It’d be helpful if staff handing out its audio equipment took a little more time in explaining how to use it to its full advantage. I have a brain injury which has affected my language and cognitive skills, which stopped me from matching aural and visual (eg images, cells and landscapes). Displaying the green sunflower lanyard for hidden disabilities will help both tourists and your staff. It’s really important. 5.00Very interesting! But be aware …it is a long upward climb to get to the prison itself and start the tour.
