On this guided, narrated walking tour, experience and learn about Old Town Alexandria’s significance throughout history. During the tour, stop to sample specially made dishes at unique, family owned restaurants. Enjoy American gastropub dishes, regional seafood, house made Italian food in one of the city's oldest buildings, European inspired dishes from the city's original fusion chef and hand crafted desserts.

We did the Old Town Alexandria Food Tour on Saturday with a small group of friends, and overall it was disappointing. Although our guide was friendly, we learned very little about Alexandria, the restaurants, or the dishes we were served. Several times we actually had to ask what we were eating because no information was provided. The vegetarian in our group was also shortchanged, with no alternative appetizers offered at a few stops. For $80+ and added fees, getting three small dishes and a cupcake, along with minimal commentary, just didn’t feel worth it.

This was the perfect mix of walking and learning about the history of the town plus good food. The guide had amazing personality and was very knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend.

There was SO much food on this tour and it was all amazing and delicious. It was perfect balance of sitting and eating mixed with walking and learning about the neighborhood’s history. Wayne was a fantastic guide and very knowledgeable about the area!

Fun walk around Kings Street, hearing a little history along the way. Restaurants were inviting and food plentiful and delicious!

Terry was a very good guide. Very informative. Food was plentiful and delicious. Would highly recommend. Terry was very knowledgeable about Alexandria history.

Disappointed on the food, both quality and quantity. Sample appetizers from Lebanon were not enough for everyone, we have to cut most of them into four! A fish taco was count as seafood!

Went on the Alexandria food tour. Both the tour and the food were great. It was a good mix of food and a history lesson. All the restaurants we visited were delicious. The amount of time we spent in each place was good as we had time to talk to the other guests and didn't feel rushed. We were very full by the end of the tour.

Great food experience with historical interest. Restaurants offered a nice variety, quality food and great service. Terry, our guide, was knowledgeable and did a great job.
