You will be met upon arrival and transferred to your hotel. Refresh and begin your sightseeing of Addis with a drive up to mount Entoto for a panoramic view of Addis. Descend down and drive to National museum where you will have a chance to spot the oldest hominids of ‘Lucy’ fossil. Visit and proceed to the Holy Trinity built during the WWII. Then proceed to Ethnographic museum, which use to be the palace of Emperor Hailesellase. To wrap up you drive to merkato, the biggest market in East Africa.

After breakfast we will drive to Hawassa. On the way you have a chance to visit Abijatta-Shalla National Park It contains 887 square kilometers including Abijatta and Shalla two alkaline lakes. The habitat of Abijatta-Shalla National Park contains open grasslands, dry savannas, arid shrub lands and that were dominated by Acacia trees, which include umbrella thorn acacias, red acacias and gum acacias. You will see Grant’s gazelles, Common Warthogs, the park is also home to 300 species of birds that are listed as endemics, residents, and migratory. Common Ostriches and Somali Ostriches are mostly common for their breeding.

After breakfast you will visit Hawassa Lake, 16 km long and 9 km wide, with a surface area of 129 square kilometers. It has a maximum depth of 10 meters and is located at an elevation of 1,708 meters. The local Fish Market and different kinds of bird watching at Amora Gedele After lunch you will drive to Dorze people who are expert in weaving called Shammas Weaving are a primary profession for a number of Dorze people. The shape of their house looks Elephant, in order to remember the existence of these animals around the area many years ago. They are known for their traditional weaving of huts made out of local bamboo. Enset “fake banana” is the stable food for these peoples.

you will take a boat cruise on Lake Chamo, the third biggest Lake in Ethiopia you will have a boat trip to see the crocodiles, hippos & aquatic bird species. The northern shores of Lake Chamo are famous for its large crocodiles, which can be seen in numbers lounging in the heat. The lake is about 32km long and provides a lush wetland habitat for many species of flora and fauna. Visit and proceed to Konso village, one of the UNESCO site in Ethiopia know by their terracing in order to protect against soil erosion from the sporadic and often heavy rainfall in the region. The villages are encircled by one to six concentric rings of stone walls, mainly consisting of basalt boulders. The age of each town is classified by a generation pole and each family lives in compounds that are accessible only through gateways that require the visitor to enter on all fours thereby rendering any potential attackers vulnerable. One of the best types of coffee for the country is also from this village.

After breakfast visit Kangaten (Nyangatom tribe) Karo people and Hammer people, distinguished by the fact that their women wear leather skirts decorated with shells, wear several copper bracelets on their hands and heavy iron necklaces around their necks, symbolizing their social status, and their hair is colored with ocher and animal fat. Men, in case of victory over the enemy or a dangerous beast, fix the hairstyle with clay and decorate with ostrich feathers. This hairstyle is carefully guarded the Hamar sleep with a special borkotos chair under their neck. they are also known for their unique custom of "bull jumping," which initiates a boy into manhood, practice of body adornment and wearing a multitude of colorful beads.

Mursi village, the Mursi women, like their Surma cousins, live on the other bank of the Omo River, are famous for their large round (and not only) lip plates worn by women. There are several theories of the wearing of lip plates: disfiguring to prevent enslavement by Arabs in antiquity; protection against the penetration of evil spirits into the body through the mouth; determination of social status, showing the amount of cattle that the groom must pay as a dowry for the bride owning the plate. Mursi are unsurpassed masters of scarification. The scars on their bodies symbolize social status and past merits. The scars are created by using a razor blade and camel thorn. To achieve a bulge, an ash or a fly larva is planted in the wound, which, among other things, eliminates all possible infections. later drive to Jinka airport for your flight back to Addis Ababa End of Service

5.00We used Aman Tours for a private, customized 6-day tour to Gondar, Bahir Dar and Lalibela. Aman himself is very professional, attentive and service-oriented. Our guide was Joseph, who was excellent, knowledgeable, very friendly and took good care of us all the time. Our driver Niko was also a real asset and a great driver. The roads were sometimes bumpy and the weather posed challenges. Niko was obviously very experienced and responsible and we were impressed with how he did it. Joseph and Niko were a great team and worked well together. We will definitely use Aman Tours again and request Joseph and Niko as our guide and driver and highly recommend them to anyone considering a tour in Ethiopia.

5.00It was one of my most memorable trips ever, such an amazing experience. Aman Ethiopia Tours has been really professional, responsive and kind from A to Z. The key factor is definitely Josepsh, he is the man, a must-have guide! He is very skilled, an excellent spotter and tracker, most of the time the first on site even he is so friendly with the tribes of south Ethiopia and all the local guide know him…). Last but not least as human being he is very friendly !

5.00It was a seven days Omo tour with friends our trip was adventurous, full of wildlife thrills and experience, our guide Yihun, ensured to fill us with every required information about animals , the national parks and the tribes as well as nature in general, we were provided with amazing services and our safety was ensured for, we travelled and arrived back safely filled with magnificent safari wildlife experience and cultural heritage

5.00We did the 8 day Omo Valley tour with Joseph and Nico from Amun Ethiopia. It was very easy to communicate with them, they were very proactive, helpful and trustworthy. Our tour was a unique and once in a lifetime experience. It was very well organized, all the road trips were very smooth, the tribal villages, national parks and lodges were amazing and the hospitality was great too.

5.00Me and my boyfriend traveled by road from Addis Ababa to southern part of Ethiopia to experience the different cultures and the way of life of the different tribes. We had an incredible time thanks to the professionalism and help of the people of Aman Tours. We were lucky to have the amazing driver Niko with us who helped us a lot with everything we needed during our trip. On our return, we were met upon arrival and we also had a city tour with Mohamed as a guide who had great knowledge of Ethiopian history and spoke very good English. We are grateful to the whole team for this experience together with Joseph and Neway even though we spent little time with them. We definitely recommend them and we look forward to coming back on our next trip.

5.00I traveled with this company for 2nd time , I visited Lalibela recently and I decided to come Ethiopia with friends to explore the semn mountain with denakil depressions, We actually confirmed our 12 days tours last Feb 2020 and we already paid the advance payments to Aman company..Amanuel the owner of the company is a friendly and nice people that have many kindness and willingness parts for giving options and choices for us. We were actually arrived 1 days before when the current situations happened in Ethiopia but the next days early in the morning before we fly to the tourist area Aman arrived in our hotels & he explained all the situations alerts around the North, Immediately we got a call from our embassy about the same issues and were informed to stay in Addis only,Amanuel he will tell you about what to do and don't in all aspects to make us save and finally we decided to see Omo tribes for 5 days and we have seen harar 4 days....whenever we need Aman he will be ready. Amanuel and his teams in omo and harar care about our safety and our need,Aman was checking twice a day and always say everything is safe......it mean Aman try his own best to client request to be fulfilled. We are happy with Aman company service and will recommended to our friends again and again We wish all Ethiopian Peace & Love!
