We had the most amazing shopping experience in Kigali thanks to Passy – our guide, driver, and truly our personal shopper. Passy is an inspiring female entrepreneur. She is optimistic and full of hope. Spending time with her, you can feel her strength, kindness, and cool spirit. She tailored a full-day shopping tour for us, starting from Marriott Hotel at 10 AM. We told her: shopping, shopping, shopping – and she delivered perfectly! Day 1 stops included: 1. Women’s Center – bought a full bag of African fabric gifts for just $100. 2. RW&A Clothing – high-quality boutique with clothes, jewelry, and furniture. 3. Abraham Konga – coolest jewelry store in town, each piece comes with an African fabric pouch. 4. Kicirwanda – beautiful lighting and bags at great prices, we even came back the next day to buy more. 5. Rubia Coffee Roasters – tasty lunch and fresh juice. 6. Azizi – can be skipped. 7. Nyamirambo local fabric market – bought African fabrics with amazing colors and patterns. 8. Local tailor – ordered custom-made clothes, the results were outstanding. 9. Question Coffee – must buy coffee beans! We ended Day 1 with two big boxes of shopping! Day 2 highlights: • Returned to Kicirwanda for more shopping • Braided African hair • Picked up our tailored clothes • Lunch at Kivu Noir Coffee (great food, plus they even have matcha!) • Bought more coffee beans to take home Passy is not just a guide – she is an amazing woman with an inspiring story. If you come to Kigali and want the ultimate shopping + city experience, we highly recommend booking a day (or two) with her. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
