  Everything went smoothly and we did not miss a connection. The fjord cruise is absolutely the highlight. There is a hidden gym during this trip, you will pass by where Star Wars: the empire strikes back’s Hoth scenes were filmed.

  I first faced some anxiety levels based on seeing how close some transfers were. There’s a lot of moving parts on this trip and I was pleasantly surprised when everything went smoothly. We experienced a 10 minute delay during the first train and we still made it on time. The ferry was amazing. Lots of freedom to move around and see the scenery from different angles. The tour ends at about 8pm so you have the ability to enjoy dinner at Bergen.

  Don’t book with Viator. This is a fantastic one day trip that I can whole heartedly recommend but Viator, as a Travel company promoting it, not only added no value, but provided an incorrect and misleading itinerary whereby the timings on the itinerary did not match the tickets and they failed to advise us of the alternative seat numbers when, on the morning of our train departure from Oslo, the stated train carriage failed to be attached to the train and we had to find alternative unbooked seats for the five hour journey.

  We absolutely loved the train ride to Myrdal, the Flam Railway, and the fjord cruise! Taking one star off because we were very ready to be done traveling after the fjord cruise- some fellow cruisers had cars lined up to take them to Bergen, and they got there much sooner than we did. All in all a fantastic experience though and we would do again!

  We had a great day and all went smoothly. The train actually left at 6.30am not 8am. Thankfully we were given notice. It was a 14 day but we took snacks, wine and lunch with us. A mixture of sunshine and rain which was expected in September.

  traveler/s should be aware about transferring luggages from train/bus/ferry. also buses information should’ve been more available

  You are totally on your own and at times it was difficult to find the next stage, whether it was bus or train. We had enough time, though, to bumble around and ask others for help. Somewhat confusing. The trip itself was good once we knew what to do…

  This is a very well organized trip. I usually like planning out and executing my own travel plans but this trip allowed me to sit back and take in the nature without thinking multiple steps ahead. Definitely try to get a seat facing forward on the left. Best views!

  Good trip but a bit much for one day with lots of transfers and minimal time between. Would recommend staying somewhere at Flam but you have to book ahead. The last train section to Bergen had no designated seats for us so we had to stand up

  The whole experience has been great, interesting but very expensive and tiring because then from Bergen I went back to Oslo by bus. For me it has been a self guided full day and night trip.
