You will have to get from your hotel to Oslo central train station yourself - hop on your train.
Flam
From Oslo you will arrive to Myrdal station, there you have to change trains and jump on - Flamsbana, this train will take to down to Flam. - A train journey unlike any other. This marvel of engineering takes you from the fjord to the mountain top as it climbs from Flam at sea level to the mountain station of Myrdal 862 metres above sea level.

1.00Don’t book with Viator. This is a fantastic one day trip that I can whole heartedly recommend but Viator, as a Travel company promoting it, not only added no value, but provided an incorrect and misleading itinerary whereby the timings on the itinerary did not match the tickets and they failed to advise us of the alternative seat numbers when, on the morning of our train departure from Oslo, the stated train carriage failed to be attached to the train and we had to find alternative unbooked seats for the five hour journey.
Long day but a great way to see Norway

4.00We absolutely loved the train ride to Myrdal, the Flam Railway, and the fjord cruise! Taking one star off because we were very ready to be done traveling after the fjord cruise- some fellow cruisers had cars lined up to take them to Bergen, and they got there much sooner than we did. All in all a fantastic experience though and we would do again!

5.00We had a great day and all went smoothly. The train actually left at 6.30am not 8am. Thankfully we were given notice. It was a 14 day but we took snacks, wine and lunch with us. A mixture of sunshine and rain which was expected in September.

3.00traveler/s should be aware about transferring luggages from train/bus/ferry. also buses information should’ve been more available

4.00You are totally on your own and at times it was difficult to find the next stage, whether it was bus or train. We had enough time, though, to bumble around and ask others for help. Somewhat confusing. The trip itself was good once we knew what to do…
