5.00Had an amazing three days diving with Dive Spear and Sport 1770 in Agnes Water. Perfect conditions and incredible marine life—manta rays, eagle rays, turtles, sharks, dolphins, sea snakes, coral fish, and stunning corals. Carmen, the owner, is a lovely person and incredibly knowledgeable about the area and the Great Barrier Reef. Highly recommend!

5.00I can’t recommend Dive Spear and Sport 1770 highly enough! From start to finish, the trip was professional, well-organised, and absolutely unforgettable. The crew were knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about marine life and safety. Andy the captain has decades of knowledge about the local region and Carmen and Jess, both Master Reef Guides, are extremely knowledgable about the Reef and their region and their energy and passion seems to have no limits! There is a great team vibe amongst Fred, Harriet, Chris and Fran who were extremely helpful and knowledgable in their own right. We dived at regular and exploratory sites on Lamont, Llewellyn, Boult and Lady Elliot Reefs in the southern Great Barrier Reef. The weather was incredible with crystal-clear water and an incredible variety of marine life. We saw Green Turtles, Grey Reef and White Tip Reef sharks, Manta Rays, and schools of colourful fish which made every dive magical. Dolphins played around the boat on the journey out and the snorkelers also were lucky enough to have a small pod of dolphins swim underneath them at the reef! The boat is comfortable, well equipped and capable for the region. Whether you're an experienced diver or just starting out, this team will make sure you feel confident and cared for. It’s one of the best dive experiences I’ve had in Australia. Can’t wait to come back!

5.00Outstanding operator out of Agnes Water, 1770. Carmen and team are just the absolute best at what they do. From the custom designed and built dive boat to the instructors, dive masters, staff and crew you’re made to feel welcome and part of a special team from the moment you step on board. Accessing the Capricorn Group reefs like Lamont and Llewellyn in the Southern Great Barrier Reef is incredible. We’ve been back several times and it never ceases to amaze. Have never seen another boat on those reefs! Carmen and Jess and team are passionate, positive educators on the GBR ecosystem. You learn a lot and it’s easy to fall in love with this very special place on earth. Worth the trip to Agnes Water to join Dive Spear and Sport 1770 for some epic reef diving that will leave you wanting to come back again and again.

5.00SO SO Amazing. This team is exceptional. I was so impressed with their knowledge of the reef and their care about its protection. Every aspect of dealing with the team was easy and enjoyable. On board was fantastic. Small groups, lots of education about what we were seeing. I cannot recommend them highly enough.
