This is the ultimate combination tour! First, we will paddleboard around the calm waters of Maracas Bay in Manuel Antonio. Then, we will head south to discover hidden waterfall gems of the Central Pacific! This truly unique tour will take us to several hidden waterfall gems, which are located south of Quepos. We will stop at 3 different waterfalls all of which can be interacted with. We will jump from some, swim behind waterfalls and even slide down one of the waterfalls we will visit. Please keep in mind that jumping or sliding or even swimming is NOT mandatory, if you would just like to enjoy the setting and scenery that is fine and just as enjoyable. We will also visit one of our favorite beaches in the area, with a breath taking backdrop and caves that lead out to the ocean. We will also stop and have lunch at a restaurant located in the jungle. This is truly a unique experience that gives you a true feel of Costa Rica.

What an amazing day!! I was a little nervous as a solo female traveller and have never paddle-boarded before, but from the moment I got picked up from my hotel I was made to feel at ease. Roberto (Rasta) was friendly, kind and really encouraging throughout the session on the board, took some great shots for me on my phone and saw some cool birds. Then came the waterfalls - another amazing experience. Joined by the other guides, DK & Alonso we saw 3 beautiful waterfalls and jumped into the pools. Again, I was a little nervous as it’s a bit out of my comfort zone but with the guides support and such positive vibes in the group, I was throwing myself into the water and heading down the waterfall slide - what a buzz!! Felt totally safe and supported throughout all the activities and the guides themselves are v impressive with their jumps and all the knowledge they shared! Food and Playa Ventana also great!! Favourite day in Manuel Antonio!! Thanks so much!! Pura Vida!

Guides Corey, Alex, and Ken were excellent! They picked us up from our hotel right on time and took us to a calm section of Manuel Antonio Beach for paddle boarding. It was our first time paddle boarding, and they were fantastic teachers—patient, encouraging, and very clear with their instructions. Although I wasn’t able to stay standing on the board for long and paddled mostly from a seated position, my husband and children were able to stand and paddle successfully. It was challenging, fun, and incredibly peaceful. We enjoyed it so much that we talked about it over and over afterward. After paddle boarding, we drove south along the Pacific Coast to visit several breathtaking waterfalls. We were able to take beautiful family photos, jump from cliffs of different heights, and even slide into one of the waterfalls—it was both exciting and refreshing. The drive from Manuel Antonio to Uvita and Ojochal was stunning. Along the way, our guide Ken shared fascinating information about the local landscape and history, which made the journey even more enjoyable. During our waterfall adventure, we stopped for lunch as a group. I had a whole fried fish, and it was absolutely delicious. Our final stop was Playa Ventanas, where we experienced a cave with a window to the ocean and relaxed along the shore—a perfect way to end the day. Ken, Corey, and Alex were truly outstanding. They guided us with professionalism and care, keeping us safe every step of the way. They really made us feel like family. I highly recommend this tour—it was well organized, exciting, and truly unforgettable.

We deliberated on whether to book due to the cost but we are so glad we did. The day was perfectly organised with a very tranquil paddle board to start, 3 waterfall stops, lunch and finished with a beach. All 3 waterfalls were stunning with helpful guides showing us how to do jumps and rock slides that we wouldn't have known how to do if we went in our own. The lunch was delicious local food and the guides made the travel component very enjoyable with interesting info about the region. We are glad we did this day trip and would definitely recommend!

They are amazing! 100% recommend. DK, Robert, and Carlos were wonderful. Great for beginners and advanced SUP both. My son even got to swim with a sea turtle which cannot be guaranteed but was the highlight of our trip for sure.

Our family of 4 with boys ages 8 and 11, did the paddle board and full day waterfall tour on December 23rd. We had an absolutely amazing day! Our guides - Ken, Jordan, DK, Gustav, and Mateo - were all great. They made the entire day safe, adventurous, and fun! This was our second time doing a tour with Paddle 9 and we will certainly book another one on our next trip back!

This was a fantastic outing. Our guides, Ken and Corry, were knowledgeable, fun and encouraging, the latter with respect to some of the waterfall jumps. We had a great day with them, had a ton of fun and learned along the way about Costa Rican culture and natural beauty. Overall, a great experience.

What a great adventure! This ended up bring a solo private tour. My guide was Ismael. He took me paddle boarding, waterfalls, took pictures while i was in action, to lunch and the beach. Every stop was awesome. He also filled me in on history of the area. I highly recommend this tour! Thank you Ismael for everything!

Our day started with morning paddle boarding in the scenic bay near Playa La Paipa. Our guide took a lot of photos and videos for us using our phone (so they are free!). He also demonstrated an acrobatic jump off a tree on the cliff face! On the way to the waterfalls, more guides joined the tour and they shared interesting and fun facts about Costa Rica, making the ride go by quickly. At each waterfall, they provided detailed information about the upcoming activities so you know what to expect. There are a total of 3 waterfalls. Each one is different and beautiful in its own ways. We had a great time swimming, sliding and jumping off them! In addition, Paddle 9 team includes a dedicated photographer who took pictures and videos of our family throughout the day. The photos are artistic and captured cool action shots. It's optional to purchase ($20/person for my family). I highly recommended this if you want to relive these memories and not worrying about taking photos yourself. Some folks in our group lost their phones during the jumps, luckily it was recovered. Others might not be so lucky. If you decided to take this package, I recommend the you bring as little as possible, just the essentials. Don't bring your camera and just buy pictures/videos from them. They have water throughout the day, and food for lunch, all included. For the services and lasting memories they provide, this tour is totally worth it.

A fantastic group to do this with. Rasta took me out for the morning paddle (there are usually two or three people that do this, so it gives plenty of instructor time for each person). The paddle is for about 1 hour including travel time, which is then followed by joining a larger group for the waterfall tour. There are 5 stops for the waterfall tour: - first stop is a nice introductory waterfall where you take a bit of a plunge from a height to get you adjusted to making the dive - second stop is a spot with a waterfall and two diving areas: one that is about 15ft (5 m) and another close to the waterfall at 30 ft (10 m). You can slide down the waterfall or jump off it! The slide is super smooth (you don't feel a thing!) - third stop is at a waterfall where you can take a time out and chill in the pool below the waterfall - fourth stop is the restaurant for a great lunch - fifth stop is a great beach where you can jump in or hang back or do some shopping at the little market that is there There is a large crew who are all very safety conscious and also very entertaining. Big thanks to Rasta, DK, Mia and Mambo along with the rest of the crew there!

VIP treatment the WHOLE day from engaging, knowledgeable, courteous and delightful guides DK and Ismael. They were right there every step of the way (literally, holding me steady on slippery rocks) and guiding me in the correct place to slide and jump to keep my husband and laughing and enjoying ourselves from beginning to end. Do not miss this tour perfectly balanced with fun, relaxation food and intro to the Pura Vida life in CR.
