Cabo San Lucas has the uniqueness of being right where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, with an amazing rock formation by the very end of the second longest peninsula of the world, which provides and amazing spectacle in and out of the water!
The Open Water Course consists of three parts: theory, practice and ocean dives. After finishing the theory part with the eLearning, you friend will go through the review with one of our instructor and then learn how the equipment works and go to the pool to practice. Finally we will finish 4 open water dives in the ocean over 2 days to be able to get certified.
The eLearning can take 6-10 hours to finish and you can start any time to complete by answering all quizzes and exams before meeting your instructor. The practical part with us Dive Ninja's takes 2 full days, meeting the instructor at 8am going to the pool and after lunch go for 2 dives at 1pm.

5.00Fantastic experience. I had done discover scuba twice before and loved it. Fabiano was my instructor and he had great enthusiasm and patience with me. He was able to get me open water scuba certified in just two days, after I had completed the online course before hand. The open water dives felt like exploring dives with skill certifications mixed in organically. I'm looking forward to diving in other places, but I will definitely come back to Cabo and dive with Dive Ninja again.

5.00I did a reactivate course and 2-tank dive with Dive Ninja after 5 years of no diving. It was an amazing experience! The lesson was in a swimming pool, where I refreshed all the skills except for equalization. My instructor Le Roux is excellent! He’s very patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. I was a bit nervous about getting back to the water because of a diving accident 5 years ago, but Le Roux helped me regain my confidence! In the afternoon I did a two tank dive with him. The whole process was smooth and fun. I saw thousands of rays and a shark! Le roux took a lot of photos and shared with me after the dive. I highly recommend Dive Ninja and Le Roux!

5.00Best dive shop in Cabo! Ask for Joy or Fabian. They were both fantastic instructors. Everyone is very friendly and clearly passionate about teaching diving at all levels. They also teach you a lot about different ecosystems. Can’t recommend them enough!

5.00Such a fun and wonderful team. Everyone who works for the company truly LOVES diving. What an experience for my open water. After training in a pool in Canada I was excited to do my open water dives in Cabo. Dive Ninja was an amazing choice. So focused on environmentalism and the ecology of the ocean. Thank you to Victoria my incredible instructor. She made me feel safe and calm right from the minute we met. And she guided me through all four of my dives and made sure I succeeded and enjoyed every minute of my time in and on the water. I would HIGHLY recommend!

5.00Dive Ninja is a fantastic dive centre and tour operator! Their efforts to contribute positively to the community behind the scene of the busy tourist town of Cabo San Luca is enormous! They help local non for profits and are deeply involved in conservation efforts at many levels. Can't recommend them enough!

5.00I took my open water course with Dive Ninja. The first day was pretty rough for me (seasick, small panic attack) but the instructor was patient and supportive through it all. They were incredibly knowledgeable and the second day of the course went amazing. I would highly recommend them.

5.00Our experience with Dive Ninja Expeditions was really excellent from beginning to end. I had been looking for an operator that was both recommended by PADI and with great reviews on TripAdvisor too, and this is how we found them. We booked through the WeTravel platform ahead of our trip and then exchanged emails to with Xochil at Dive Ninja Expeditions which made the process very simple, as she was super responsive and thoughtful. As a ready we were ready to get trained the day when we arrived in Cabo. The entire staff at Dive Ninja was both extremely friendly and professional. Victoria was our lead instructor and she demonstrated great commitment to our safety and instruction and made it easy to learn. With the assistance of Mercedes and Anika we we were in great hands so that when my son and I got certified we felt that we were ready. We then did a couple more dives with Dive Ninja and equally enjoyed our time. We would have done more dives with them, if only I had remembered to book those ahead of time (which sadly I did not, and the week between Christmas and New Year is very busy in Cabo). We will definitely use Dive Ninja Expeditions next time we are back in Cabo! PS: We also did a Whale Watching Tour with the same company and really enjoyed seeing so many humpback whales!

5.00I recommend with my eyes closed! We were lucky to come across a lovely French-speaking instructor who also had a teaching style that is rarely seen. The courses and dives were informative and fun while maintaining an emphasis on safety. And what's more, he doesn't only speak French, so really if you want to dive in Cabo San Lucas, go to ninjadive and ask for Fabien!
Fabien at Dive Ninjas gave me the courage to succeed in open water.

5.00I am a 34 yr old female who was headed to Cabo to party, I had no intention of ever entering the water like that when I arrived in cabo. Fab is the greatest instructor in Cabo and turned my “party” vacation into a life changing experience that I traded partying for. I enrolled in the open water certification course solo and felt completely comfortable and safe. I most definitely trusted him and his team of instructors. When I walked by their booth at my hotel at Casa Dorada I instantly I felt safe talking to the Dive Ninjas about my bucket list goal of becoming a certified open water diver just as my Dad was. When I first meet the team I knew there was something special to experience and I knew that this was officially my time to learn to dive. I am honored to have been taught by Fab, and I look forward to diving with their team at Dive Ninjas again. Every time I return to Mexico I always contact them to get on their schedule for the duration of my trips. If I could give more stars I would, Fab and the Dive Ninjas are incredible people who helped open new doors for me as an official certified diver. Highly recommended, don’t go anywhere else.
