1.00Paied, didn’t recive tickets, no one answered any calls, mail or chats. The app worked tho, but didn’t help me with the tickets.
Never received the tickets and were told tour was cancelled 5 mins before the start time

1.00The tickets were never sent. I contacted Viator about 5 times to ask about that - the response was them getting in contact with the tour operator, which didn’t bother to respond to my messages prior to reaching out to customer service. 15 minutes prior to starting the tour, I contacted Viator again. I read a review where someone said they got sent the tickets 20mins before their tour and I was patient enough to wait. Viator customer service finally got in touch with the tour operator and they told me the tour was cancelled by the Versailles admin, due to overcrowding. If I hadn’t reached out, I would have never known. We travelled 700km to visit Versailles and I was so happy that we could find a time slot that worked with our schedule better, that I didn’t book it directly with the Versailles website. They ruined our plans and our trip. Never again. I was issued a refund and just to be clear - Viator customer service was great. The frustration comes from the fact that I wish they had more control and scrutiny over the 3rd party companies they work with.

3.00We were in a pinch and needed tickets as it was sold out so we used this third party. They sent me two tickets saying I don’t need tickets for the kids however you do. They won’t let you in without 4 barcodes to scan.
