We leave from your hotel in Quito at 09h00, directly to the path that leads to the Ecuadorian Amazon Rainforest. After travelling through the Valley of Tumbaco, crossing the eastern cordillera of the Andes, and then descending through the cloud forest, you will reach the small village of Papallacta and enjoy its healing hot springs!

Our guide Louis was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. We went Guango lodge and took a nature hike to see hummingbirds and other birds. We throughly enjoyed the day!

Beautiful day from Quito, surrounded by stunning landscapes and magnificent wildlife! I really liked my time at the hotsprings which are in a very clean and quiet place. The hummingbirds' farm was very magical with hundreds of those creatures moving around you! It was hard to believe how beautiful it was...
