Discover the best product or Emilia Romagna region and visit 3 local producers of Parmigiano Reggiano, Wine and Balsamic Vinegar. We provide an authentic experience with a local host from Bologna that will share his passion and knowledge for our food specialties.

The tour starts at 7am cause Parmigiano is made early in the morning, we'll stop for breakfast along the way before reaching the Parmigiano Factory.

We only hire certified tour leaders. Each place we visit there are several tasting of local products, all food and wine is included.

What a fun tour. Ricardo was super knowledgeable and the mix of activities was perfect! Our hosts at each venue were enthusiastic and happy to share there special artisanal products and history!

Amazing experience! Mattia was super fun to walk around Bologna with. He shared with us numerous anecdotes and stories about the city and its people which made the food tour a truly memorable experience. If you are on the fence to book it, here's what I have to say to you - BOOK IT! You are not going to regret it.

I took this tour solo and had a great time. Our group was relatively small, consisting of 5 people, all from America. They were lovely and we had a good time chatting in the car and while doing the tastings. Each stop (after the first stop for coffee & a pastry) has a learning component and a tasting that involves both wine and food (at every stop). The Balsamic Vinegar experience was the best part by far, surprising me as I'm not a fan of store bought balsamic. Be prepared to consume a decent amount of food and wine. By the end of the tour we each had had at least 5 glasses of wine, some of us far more. Riccardo is an absolutely fantastic tour guide! He brought so much energy to the group & was full of fun facts. He was friends with the producers at each stop, so was easily able to ask them questions and translate answers if he didn't know. I would recommend this tour, as it was the highlight of my time in Bologna.

Our day with Ricardo from Bologna was a fantastic day starting with caffe/cornetto on way out of town. Parmigiano Reggiano factory tour and tasting, so interesting! Our balsamic tasting with lovely Patrizia and her amazing dishes. And finally our wine pairing at a beautiful property amongst the vineyards

Excellent trip. Riccardo was a knowledgeable and fun host. It ran very smoothly, especially the pick up and drop off from the hotel, which was a good feature of this trip in particular. The three destinations were well chosen and the hosts there were very good. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Bologna

The tour was a delight from the moment we were picked up! It was a highlight of our holiday and we enjoyed each of the experiences and our host, Riccardo, was exceptional! He made the day fun and was very knowledgeable. My best advice is to arrive hungry as there are food pairings at each location. I highly recommend this tour to any who are visiting Bologna.
