• Amazing day with The Captains choice tour

  What an amazing day! We chose the captains choice and we could not have asked for a better tour. Our crew were fantastic and looked after us so well especially as we are a family with 4 teens and tweens. Ya Ya was our guide and she was brilliant - adjusting the plan to accommodate , giving great advice, joining us for snorkelling and island hopping. Plenty of refreshments on the boat too as well as providing snorkelling gear. The whole experience was definitely the highlight of our holiday . Thank you to all at 5 star marina.   We had a wonderful private boat tour to the Phi Phi island , and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. The staff on the boat were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. They made us feel very welcome and ensured that everything was comfortable and enjoyable throughout the trip. The boat was well organized, the atmosphere was relaxing. It was clear that the team truly cares about their guests and wants everyone to have a great experience. We had an amazing time and would definitely recommend 5Star Marine to anyone looking for a memorable boat tour. Thank the whole team for such a great day!

  My husband and I went out on a private sunrise boat tour. As photographers lighting was incredibly important and they accommodated us on every level. We were able to get out on the water while it was still dark to catch the perfect sunrise and to beat the crowds at the more touristy destinations. Our tour guide was absolutely incredible and knew all the best places to go and ended up being an amazing photographer himself and took so many amazing photos of us. It was such a treat as we are never able to get photos of us as a couple as one of us is always having to take the photo. It was such a treat. Everyone was such a joy to work with and would highly recommend this boat company! We look forward to using them again in the future.

  Incredible! We did a private tour with just myself, my husband and our kids. We were able to curate our trip as we wanted, and between the boat, the customer service and the islands it was absolutely perfect. Our guide Jessica was amazing. Our captain was Big Bear and there was an engineer on board who absolutely doted on us. I’d say it was the best service we have ever had. We were able to stop at some hidden gems and had a beautiful lunch on phi phi island, got to see Maya Bay and the snorkeling was awesome. The engineer came snorkelling with us and pointed out some beautiful marine life we would have missed otherwise. WE EVEN SAW REEF SHARKS! Excellent experience all around, would absolutely recommend.   This was 5 star service from beginning to end. The van that collected us was of a luxury standard and the boat was a similar standard. Our guide Beer and the boat crew Sunny and Gift were keen to ensure we had the best day possible. It was a windy day and we were shown our planned itinerary and were warned it would be a very bumpy ride for around an hour so they had a second alternative itinerary which would be more sheltered and offer a more comfortable journey and still have beaches and snorkelling. I’d booked the trip during a cruise and posted for others to join us so as a result there were 3 groups on board who had only met online previously so we all decided to stick with what we’d booked. In hindsight we probably should have chosen the second option as bumpy was an understatement! It really was a pretty uncomfortable journey out (back was bumpy but more bearable) however we chose to stick with the tour when we were given an alternative so it’s on us…. I appreciate that the team gave a choice to switch to. The crew did their best to ensure we sat on the best area of the boat to minimise the bumps. Just mentioning this because if you use 5 Star Marine and they suggest an alternative may be better - I’d be inclined to take their word for it and take the alternative! Once we arrived at Phi Phi we had some great snorkelling stops, saw the monkeys at Monkey Island and had a really tasty lunch in a restaurant recommended by Beer. Overall we all enjoyed our day

  We had an amazing private tour to the Phi Phi Islands — truly an unforgettable experience! Jimmy and his team did everything possible to make sure we had a perfect day. They took us snorkeling in beautiful spots away from the crowds, showed us stunning locations, and we even saw baby sharks! We enjoyed delicious food and fresh fruit right on the beach, which made the day even more special. This was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. If you are visiting during a busy season, booking a private tour is absolutely worth it. Highly recommended!

  

  

  

• Wonderful Boat Trip

  We were 4 adults (2 couples) on this private boat. Our guide was YawYaw and she did a terrific job of making us feel welcome, comfortable and prepared for a great day on the water. Her crew was also friendly and knowledgeable. We chose private because we read how busy the areas around Lhi Phi can get and we wanted the freedom to stay or go as we wished at each of the stops. We opted for the early (6:30) pickup which was a good decision. When we got to the 1st and 2nd snorkel locations we were one of only a couple other boats so we had great experiences in the water. The sea life did not disappoint- we saw a good variety of fish and coral. Our last snorkel was more crowded but probably had the best snorkeling: shark, squid, a variety of fish and a good sized sea snake. We swam on the beach of a lovely island and ate a delicious lunch at a floating restaurant before returning to the marina. The boat was clean and comfortable and we were provided plenty of drinks and fruit. We took snacks which was helpful as we opted to eat lunch at the end which was around 2pm. We were lucky with great weather which really makes a difference for the open water crossings as well as the clarity for snorkeling. A top memorable day of our Thailand trip.

• Absolute 5 Star Private Experience!

  We had the most incredible private Phi Phi Island boat tour with our family — truly one of the highlights of our trip! From start to finish, everything was seamless. Even before the tour began, the team created a group chat with me to coordinate all the details and answer any questions I had. That level of communication made planning so easy and gave us so much confidence going into the day. They had a small shop next door to their spot at the marina for us to purchase alcohol beverages and snacks for the journey. The round-trip transportation was extremely comfortable and convenient, which made the entire experience completely stress-free. It was such a nice touch not having to worry about logistics and just being able to enjoy the day. Once on board, the boat itself was spacious and comfortable. While the ride had a few bumps (thanks to the weather, of course!), it was all part of the adventure and completely expected for a day out on the water. Our guide, Jessica, was absolutely fantastic. She was fun, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience feel effortless. At Maya Bay, she found the perfect picture spots and knew exactly where to position us for those postcard-worthy views. Even better, she expertly timed our stops so we avoided large crowds and long queues, which made the day feel relaxed and exclusive. After Maya Bay, we explored around Phi Phi Leh, where we swam in the most crystal-clear water. The crew provided pool noodles, which was such a thoughtful touch — it allowed us to just float, relax, and take in the scenery comfortably. We also stopped for snorkeling, and it ended up being some of the best snorkeling we experienced on our trip — beautiful visibility and vibrant marine life everywhere. The hospitality on board was outstanding. The crew prepared an incredible spread of freshly cut fruit, which was so refreshing after swimming. Every detail felt intentional and well thought out. To top it all off, the day ended with a surprise stop at a private beach complete with beach chairs — the perfect way to unwind before heading back. We never felt rushed at any point; the entire day moved at the perfect pace. If you’re considering a private Phi Phi Island tour, this is absolutely the way to do it. Highly, highly recommend! 🌊✨
