  Price was decent for 3 course dinner and show ( only like 220) gift shop had interesting things and cast members and wait staff were fun and kind of given the opportunity I would visit again ( out of towner)

• Full Pirate Experience! Great Family Experience

  We sat in the Orange section and our pirate was awesome!! Very fun to go with family especially if you have little kids! It was really loud near the speakers and the food was decent, you get soup or salad, chicken, potatoes, mixed veggies, and deserts while watching the show.

  We booked via a groupon and the company originally booked our reservation and confirmed it. Got a call 5 days before the reservation telling us that our reservation was no longer going to be recognized because management had sold out both shows on Saturday night to a private party. This is absolutely crap. You are in a tourist destination and families are planning their trips around events like this. For this organization to cancel with such little warning shows the competency of their management. My son was looking forward to this and now we are forced to try and pivot and make up for this. I would never do business with this organization again.

  They are not accommodating at all for any disability. One of my children has sensory issues but is considered an "adult" here because she is over 11. At first I was told that they could accommodate her with a child's meal, but after we bought tickets I was told the previous representative was incorrect and I could only hope that a child's meal was available on the day. I was asking to pay full price for a cheaper meal and they said there was no way I could be assured they would provide food for my child and I also was not allowed to bring food for my child in case they did not have any. I was expecting something similar to our experiences with Medieval Times, but the venue is much smaller and generally looks cheap. One of my children immediately said it looked like it had been converted from something else and they were lazy about it. We got there very early so I could try to get the meal situation corrected, but I cannot stand for long periods and there is no where to sit while waiting for the venue to open. I found one chair but was quickly told that I was not allowed to sit there. The only place they would allow me to wait was outside (in Southern California in July). Once we were finally seated, I had to remind our server several times that one of my children has a dairy allergy and needed a dairy-free meal. We asked her if the tomato soup had dairy. She responded "It's the same soup that she has" pointing to another child's bowl. After I said that I couldn't see the ingredients by looking at the soup, she insisted that if there was dairy in it, it would be lighter or more creamy looking. Since she wouldn't find out for us what the ingredients were, my allergic child ended up just waiting for the main course. Then when the food came out, I had to remind the server again that he needed a dairy allergy meal. My child who was not offered a first course had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get his meal. Since they have no dairy-free options for dessert and they wouldn't allow me to bring something for him, he also had to sit while everyone ate dessert. Although at least half the seats still had a nearly full serving of cake sitting there as we walked out, so clearly he wasn't missing much. The show was just okay. I liked that there was more audience participation and Medieval Times, but the games to cheer for "your" pirate were more contrived. By the end of the show, half the pirates were on the good side and half were on the bad side, but they still expected you to keep cheering for your color pirate to stop innocent hostages from escaping. That was weird. The way the pirate ship is build in the venue, there are also parts of the show that are difficult or impossible to see if you are sitting in the wrong spot. A couple of notes. Don't bother prepaying for parking. There was no way for them to tell which vehicles had paid and which hadn't, so it's worth the $1 risk that they haven't changed that system before you go. The miniature golf area is very small and outside. I stared at it while sweating through the time before I was allowed to sit inside and would definitely recommend skipping that.

  PLEASE, D0 NOT waste your money here. If there was a story plot, you could not tell because the sound system was so sub par that we could not understand anything the actors said. So you couldn't tell if they were good actors or not. The action scenes were mediocre (maybe good enough for a 5 year old). The food was inedible. The only good note was our server, he was quite attentive. The charge for parking is a joke. I could have driven in with no one checking that I had paid. All in all this place is a total rip-off with an upcharge for anything and everything. If you still insist on going, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! .

• Event good. Viator process a bit confusing

  The event was good. The only issue was getting in. All the staff didn’t seem aware on Viator and how it worked. Asked if I called a head for a reservation?

• It was fun and we may go again when we visit California

  The entertainment is top notch. The singing dancing and silk sky routines were outstanding. The production was great for all ages. The food was less than great. The shrimp dinner consisted of 3 small shrimp, otherwise I would have given 5 stars

  Kids would love this place. Adults not so much. Folks on the phone, ticket counter and bar were very friendly. Our food service staff could not have cared less we were there, and it showed! Our appetizers (extra $) came out nearly cold. We asked for ketchup and it took 15 minutes to get. The dining tables were narrow, and the chairs placed so tightly together I was constantly elbowing my family. That was really horrible. My cheap chair had stains all over. The place just didn't seem clean. Let's face it, people don't come here for the food. Was it acceptable, yes, like dorm food. Would I ever pay 1 penny for this food on it own, NEVER! Had the salad an it was absolutely drenched in ranch dressing. Drinks at the bar were $8, reasonable. Let's talk about the show. The sound system was horrible. I could barely understand any of the spoken words. The background music was so loud it was distracting. Audio fidelity was miserable. This show actually has a storyline, and since I can't decipher the audio, I couldn't follow anything. This MUST be improved. Each audience section is given a color, bright colored lights are constantly shooting right in your face with your colored section, so bright I needed sunglasses and interfered with the show. The show itself was mildly entertaining. There was no preshow activity, just an overpriced gift shop. I wore a very elaborate pirates hat to celebrate my birthday, not one staff member said anything about it (like I said, they do NOT care you are there or not.) I told them on the phone when booking it was my birthday, my wife mentioned to the staff it was my birthday at 6:31 and they said you need to tell us 30 minutes before the show, she missed that by 1 minute. OH WELL. We have been to Medieval Times just a few doors down, and that is MUCH better! I would go there instead. I was always curious about this place, well no longer. I would NOT recommend this venue.

  Don't bother going here. Even with the Groupon it is not worth the price. I purchased 9 tickets (5 adults and 4 children) and it was a disappointment. Save your money and go to Medieval Times instead. We went to Medieval Times last summer, had an amazing time and the food was great! I can't say the same about the Pirate's show. From start to finish the service was awful. We went on a Wednesday night and there were hardly any people there. You would think that is great since its not crowded, NOPE! Took 20+ minutes to check in because the lady at the ticket booth couldn't figure out how to redeem the groupon. Meanwhile it was cold and rainy and there was a group of angry customers behind me complaining about why it was taking so long. Although they had multiple check-in windows, there was only one person checking people in, however there were 2 other workers sitting right there playing on their phones. Also they charged us 15 dollars for parking when the parking lot was empty and you had to park yourself. WHAT A JOKE AND A RIP OFF! Anyway, we finally got to our seats only to NOT be greeted by our server until 20 minutes in. It took 30 minutes to get our drinks. I paid for a seat for my 2 year old (technically free) so she could get a booster, yet we never received a booster after we requested one. Over 35 minutes of waiting, we were still not asked if we wanted soup or salad or received any food at all. Our kids were STARVING and complaining. We finally had to flag another server from a different section to help get us food. The show was ok. It was a little boring in my opinion. It definitely wasn't entertaining enough to distract us from our grumbling stomachs. Anyway, after almost 1 hour, we finally got our cold soups and sorry salads, however we couldn't really enjoy them because 1 minute later came our cold and dry food. The food was not good. My kids didn't even eat their meals and we had to get them food after. Since the show ended late and we had to get the kids food and to bed, I decided to call the next day and talk about my experience instead of requesting to talk to someone that night. The next day I called back only to told I would get a call back soon from a manager. Well no one ever called me. Took me 3 weeks to finally get a hold of the right person and honestly they did not care. He said if I had a problem, I should've talked to a manager after the show. I guess that person doesn't understand how it is to have tired and hungry children. Anyway, as I mentioned...don't waste your money on this mediocre show, terrible food, and awful service!
