Discover the majestic Andes Mountains on this private full-day trip from Santiago. Start your day with a visit to a family-owned vineyard in San Esteban for a tasting of artisanal wines, then head up the scenic mountain road known as "Los Caracoles" toward the historic Portillo ski resort.
At nearly 3,000 meters above sea level, you’ll find the stunning Inca Lagoon, a glacial lake surrounded by dramatic peaks. Enjoy free time for photos and lunch at the resort (optional), and interact with llamas during picturesque roadside stops. A perfect escape into nature, history, and local flavors.

The winery visit is unavailable on Sundays, but the wine tasting will be offered at an alternate location.
During the winter season, access to the lagoon's shore is restricted due to a preventive closure by Hotel Portillo, due to heavy snowfall.
From June to October, lunch at Hotel Portillo is not available on Saturdays, so lunch will be provided at an alternative restaurant.

5.00Highly recommend this tour. Julio was outstanding! We were so fortunate to have him! Amazing views and history. We had one day and saw more than ever imagined. He allowed us to add an attraction we really wanted to see, very flexible and so knowledgeable.

5.00We came away from our tour with Jamie feeling completely satisfied with a day well spent. His knowledge about Chile's history, culture and people has changed the way we see this country. It was a day of beautiful scenery, good food, good wine and interesting facts. He went out of his way to make sure the day was perfect. The amazing weather and scenery definitely helped a bit as well!
