From Gateway of india , It’s take 1Hrs to reach elephanta after arrival we will take toy train for 2minutes is a fun and quirky way to travel and takes us Half way of Caves After that you will proceed to the Elephanta Caves which contain a collection of rock art linked to the sect of Shiv You’ll have 1 Hrs to explore the caves, also seeing the sculpted images of Kalyansundara, Gangadhara and Ardhanriswara, so remember to bring a camera! Afterwards Guide will take you to the elephanta island village you will spend 20min in village Afterwards you will board the again heading back to Gateway of India where the tour will end and Drop off you back to your hotel.

5.00Nitin & Nisar kindly coordinate for two days tours and we fully enjoyed their professional guide. Day 1, moving around Mumbai. Day 2, going to Elephanta island. Thank you very much and we recommend this 2 day tour. Without them, the travel might not be that much fruitful.

5.00Our guide Nisar picked us on time from the hotel and we went to see all the sights. They are not necessarily in order described since traffic was bad but we got to see most things. Some plans were altered but we got to see other things that were not on the itinerary which was cool (such as a Jain temple and affluent neighborhoods). Overall we had a great time and learned many histories and sights so come try this tour if you have time. This review is only for day 1 so elephanta cave is to be discovered tomorrow!

5.00Best excursion in Mumbai! We came on a cruise and were not sure what to expect being for the first time in India. Nissar was the best guide, he showed us the city and very interesting places. The van was comfortable and the driver was excellent. We felt safe at all times. Second day we visited Elephant Island and it was beautiful and interesting. I highly recommend this two day tour. We will never forget Mumbai!
