Have breakfast at the homestay and enjoy a bike ride (1-1.5 hours) on the path from Dong Hoa to Tam Binh, passing the durian gardens, sapota gardens, and longan gardens. Encounter with the local people then visit the local village market. Return to the homestay for refreshments. (Extension: Go for a 1 hour walk along the trail with a local and cycle to Ngu Hiep Island where the alluvium of the Mekong River has formed a fertile garden. These are unusual excursions in a luxuriant and authentic place.) For those who do not wish to ride a bike, it is possible to ask our tour guide for a motorbike and ride pillion.

We spent 23 fantastic days in Vietnam traveling from north to south, ending up in the beautiful island of Phú Quốc. Kim, our travel agent, has organized a private tour just for the 3 of us who do not like to travel in a group preferring autonomy, what about perfect and attention to detail, always attentive to our requests and to bend over backwards to meet them!, prepared guides, transfers always on time, adequate means! Vietnam is a fantastic country, I highly recommend everyone to go there and affridarvi to their agency, they are really special people!

We left in December for a custom 22-day Vietnam and Cambodia tour and have just returned. I never imagined I would have a wonderful and unforgettable experience. Excellently organized, with wonderful Italian language guides (who we embrace) and really competent and patient drivers. It was a journey to two states that had a very difficult past, but that rose again, with courage and love for their land. The rice fields of the North, the Palaces of central Vietnam, the tunnels of Vietcong, the Mekong and Cambodia with its temples of Angkor, but not only, we were excited in front of the people who always welcomed us with simplicity and a smile. It was a GREAT trip!

Thanks izitour and especially thanks Justin.

  • 5 star service from beginning to end

Vietnam is a beautiful country rich in history and filled with incredible sights. You can Google all that. My review is specific to the service and quality of the tour. We were able to change the package to suit our wants. We spent the last few days at a beach resort in Mui Ne Beach Pandaros resort. Best resort we have ever stayed at in all of our travels! From the start, Liem the main contact at IZ, was available even before we got on the plane, upon arrival and when needed and kept in constant contact with us. One hotel was listed as a 4 star but it was closer to a 2 star. Liem without hesitation booked us in at another hotel. We were unlucky to be in Hoi An at the start of flood. She got us rerouted back to Hoi Chi Minh ASAP then adjusted our itinerary for the missed days in Hoi An area. She made us feel safe and secure despite us not ever experiencing a flood in our land locked lives! I came down with bronchitis and Liem made arrangements for a team member to get me meds. The tour was then switched around doing the less physically demanding tours first. Just to give me time to recover. The tour guides were fantastic! All three, were educated and extremely knowledgeable on the history of Vietnam, all were friendly and professional and helpful. All were willing to go at our pace and stop for a beer! I can't provide any constructive criticism to improve. All were perfect! The SUVs were top notch. The drivers excellent. Drivers English was limited but Google translate to the rescue and all vehicles had wifi. The restaurants that were prepicked by the tour, were all exceptional and the menu, food and service at these were wonderful. After doing a private tour, we will not book the bus tour with 30 other people ever again. We felt spoiled. We will return to Vietnam and will book again through IZ. We have friends doing a similar 21 day tour, they are with 30 other people and booked through a travel company in Canada. Their cost is twice what we paid. They are stuck in Hoi An due to more flooding. Their tour company isn't rerouting them and have not mentioned refunding the missed tours - we did receive a refund despite spending extra day at the beach resort and Hoi Chi Minh. We will confidently book again with IZ tours. 5 star service from start to end.
