5.00We took a private tour of the Angkor temples, and it was a fantastic experience. The early sunrise tour was definitely worth it. Our guide, Ben, was great. They were very knowledgeable and friendly, and they made sure we could go at our own pace. We visited the three main temples: the famous Angkor Wat, the Bayon Temple, and the mysterious Ta Prohm. Our guide shared a lot of history and stories about each place, which made the trip so much better. The private car made it easy to get around and avoid the crowds. We had a wonderful time and learned so much. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area.

5.00I would highly recommend John to be your tour driver in Siem Reap. He is a very safe driver and is very respectful. It was also very easy to communicate. I also highly recommend getting an English speaking tour guide such as Ben when visiting the temples as it is very easy to walk by without understanding the significance or relevance.

5.00Absolutely outstanding service from Siem Reap Private Taxi. John, the owner, speaks excellent English and is a safe, careful, and exceptionally reliable driver (he was always early!). His vehicle — a Toyota van with upgraded, very comfortable seats — felt luxurious and spotless. We originally booked him just for our airport transfer, but once we realized how professional and trustworthy he was, we hired him for two full days of sightseeing, and again for our return to the airport. Having a private car to explore Angkor Wat and the many surrounding temples made all the difference — distances are significant, and walking is simply not realistic. John patiently waited for us at every stop with no pressure or time constraints, which allowed us to visit at our own pace. While slightly more expensive than grabbing random taxis, it saved us the constant hassle of haggling over prices. Plus, stepping back into a cool, immaculate car with chilled bottled water waiting for us between temple visits was a real treat. Highly recommended!

5.00We did a two-day tour of the Angkor temples — one day for the grand circuit (Angkor Wat, etc.) and one for the small circuit. Our driver, Mr. Pheakdey, was knowledgeable and thoughtful, on one occasion even coming to rescue us with an umbrella when we got caught in a downpour. Dealings with Mr. John in the home office were smooth and problem-free.
