Next We can enjoy atmosphere of old japan at Iroha alleys. There are more than 100 small stores such as bars, restaurants and unique select shops in this narrow alley.
Sendai
finally we visit alleys of Kokubuncho, the largest night entertainment district in Tohoku, Northeast region in Japan. There are about 3000 restaurants and bars in this area.

5.00I can’t recommend this tour enough. Ms Mai was a great guide, very knowledgeable about the area where she guide her tours. Without Ms Mai’s assistance I would never be able to enjoy my stay in Sendai as much and, besides introducing me to the lovely izakayas we went to, she also gave me valuable tips about places to go during my day trips. I am really grateful for her assistance and also for the great chats we had.

5.00I had such a fantastic time on Mai's Sendai Bar Hop Tour. Mai is super fun, friendly, is great to hang out with & really knows the best spots to take you based on your food & drink preferences. She's extremely well connected and has wonderful relationships with tons of bar owners. As the festive tour progresses thru the evening, she'll call ahead and make sure seats are available at your next stop, and if not she's already got a Plan B, C, D, ect.. ready to go to ensure your best experience possible :) She'll take you to the funnest places to meet and have drinks with amazing owners and their fabulous customers and regular clientele, you'll have soooo much fun that it feels like your out on the town with your best friends for a fabulous evening of great entertainment and tons of smiles. Plus Mai ensures to get lots of excellent pics to share with you as souvenirs of a fabulous night to remember. I'm definitely booking again next time I'm in Sendai =)

5.00If I could give Mai 10 stars I would! Had such a great time with her, she's so easygoing and easy to have a conversation with! She was great at navigating the busy izakayas on a weekend, and will tailor the tour to your likes. I will definitely be contacting her again for our next tour in the Sendai area!

5.00I can highly recommend this tour for travellers who want to experience the drinking and food culture of Sendai. I had the chance to try various Japanese sake and food in a variety of traditional Izakaya, which were all very delicious. Mai, the tour guide, spoke very good English and is also very knowledgeable and friendly. Mai also goes out of her way to find Izakaya that suit her guest's drink and food tastes so you will never go hungry. I highly recommend this tour for groups or single travellers! 🤗

5.00Mai's tour is a MUST if you are traveling to Sendai for a few days. I highly recommend doing the tour on your first night in town, as she showed us places we kept coming back to. The people of Sendai are wonderful!

5.00I had an amazing, authentic experience thanks to Mai! I have lived in Aomori for a while, but haven't spent much time in Sendai. I probably never would have ventured into the hidden alleys and bars without an experienced guide to lead the way and tell me all about it!
