Catedral De Granada 2024
We will take a walk around the Main Plaza of the city of Granada, where we will see the majestic and historic cathedral of Granada Nuestra Señora de Asunción, if that day the Church is open we can pay 1 dollar per person to go to the bells and See the beautiful center of Granada from above, we will take a look at the small craft market, the typical foods of the city and the beautiful people that surround it. We will walk to the burned La Merced church where the guide will fill you with information about the history of each church and place, which admission is free. Finally we will have an educational and dynamic tour at the famous Chocolate Museum where we will have a free tour about how and what cocoa was used for before.
Isletas de Granada
After enjoying the city, we will go to the majestic Lake Cocibolca or Lake Nicaragua, a huge expanse of water filled with many species of fish and the popular Toro shark, the only freshwater shark in the world. We will take a boat and know how the 365 islands were formed and we will know each of them among the most popular as the 2 Monkey Islands, Fort St. Paul where we will Sarpare to Fight Captain Morgan and the best view towards Mombacho volcano. We'll have the best captain and Nicaraguan music in the background.

5.00After spending a few days in Managua, we decided to go to Granada. We love working with Nica Travel so we booked this trip in conjunction with our hotel move. First, everything is dealt with so seamlessly. The owner is very responsive on What’s App and booking with him is so easy. We got our favorite guide, Anthony, and off we went! Our first stop was to see the Masaya Volcano. It was so neat to be able to get so up close and personal to the volcano. We then stopped for a really delicious lunch Next we headed off to a beautiful overlook of Laguna de Apoyo. After that we arrived in the city of Granada. We did a walking tour before heading off to a boat ride to see the Isletas as well as some monkeys and birds. The day was packed, but so worth it! This area of Nicaragua is so beautiful and geologically interesting! If you are ever in Nicaragua, just book all of your tours with this company! You will not be disappointed!

5.00Julio Cesar is an excellent guide who I highly recommend. He's very personable and well educated in the history Nicaragua in addition to the places that we stopped in. He took photos for me, and he helped personalize my tour the way that I wanted and make it memorable. He even asked what type of souvenirs I was interested and helped locate them for me. Gracias!

5.00Very good day seeing a lot of the cities and sites. Let me first address attire. You will sweat and get warm with the humidity. I wore shorts and a tank top. Many churches require covering shoulders and knees but this is not an issue for the church you will visit. You don’t have to have hiking shoes. Good shoes yes for hiking the volcano. I wore hiking sandals and I got some rocks a couple of times but it didn’t bother me. Bring some water. Lunch is available to buy and I got the shrimp tacos. Super yummy. I don’t want to ruin the tour of everything you see but it was worth it. I did horseback ride and saw a monkey or more. I won’t say how or when. You will need to see for yourself. The tour ended almost 7 because Julio never rushed us. He was a great guy that allowed us to be silly and laugh and explore. Loved our day. We only had one day in Managua and it was money well spent. I feel like I had an incredible one day in town. The highlight was definitely Granada because of all the things we saw in town and the final boat ride. That was fantastic on so many levels. We got to watch the sunset from the boat! Just book the tour!

5.00Anthony, our guide, was very knowledgeable and explained the contents on a translator to me, who was not good at Spanish or English. It was a safe company because when I made a reservation, I would get a reply as soon as I contacted them. The tour was also good. I recommend it.

5.00THIS WAS 10 STARS OUT OF 5 !!! Hi Francisco, it's J and E. Francisco was prompt and patient in answering all of our questions and concerns before this excursion. Anthony was our Guide/Driver/Bodyguard/DiscJockey/Photographer/Translator! Anthony is personable, professional, patient, punctual and very knowledgeable. This tour especially, was a highlight in our week in Nicaragua! You get so much bang for your buck, and incredible memories. Highly reccommend this tour! Thank you Francisco and Anthony!

5.00My tour guide name is Anthony, He is loved his job and he is happy guy, He brought me to do Granada city tour, give me advice about the best angle to took pictures and best restaurant in front of water , good view and also very delicious fish dishes, we had wonderful time spent whole trip.
