This is a comprehensive Bucharest tour that takes you through the city’s past and recent history, and to the most emblematic attractions. I will provide you with plenty of insights into Romanian history (including communist and post-communist history) and local culture.
This tour is a mix of essential sightseeing and flexibility -all at your pace. We conveniently use the car to transfer to different areas of interest. We cover the key areas and landmarks, but I also try to throw in things considering your special interest. Please have in mind that I can adapt the tour to suit your preference or needs – like having more or less walk, as you wish.
We have a mid-point lunch break, but I will be happy to stop for a coffee or refreshing drink along the way.
End up the tour with a stroll in the pedestrian Old Town, a bustling place full of restaurants, pavement cafes and bars, hub of nightlife Bucharest is famous for, also home to iconic landmarks.

5.00My husband and I took the all day Bucharest City tour and also the all day Jewish Bucharest tour. Cristina was amazing. She was punctual in picking us up from our hotel, extremely knowledgeable, flexible in meeting our needs and reasonably priced. One of the main reasons for our trip was to find the grave of my grandmother and to see where my father had spent his childhood. My father is 96 and he had never seen his mother’s grave so this was very important to him. She went over and above by researching in advance the possible gravesites as well as the location of my father’s home. We found the grave and it was in disrepair. My father was disappointed but not only did Cristina offer to follow up but she ensured that the repair work was done!! Without her, my father’s wish would not have been accomplished!!! Cristina is trustworthy and is amazing. I highly recommend Cristina. ❤️❤️❤️

5.00Excellent tour of some of the main sites in bucharest associated with its history and particularly the story of the revolution. We were grateful for the air conditioned car on a hot day (also the lemonade stop!!. The tour of the parliament is worth doing, tho its a pity they dont show you the actual chambers (even on a weekend). Thank you Cristina!
