5.00I went with a friend to Grega and Anita Kofler (Kofler Sport) guided ski touring tour for 9 days in Monte Negro. The group was 7 persons (including us), 5 males and 2 females. During the tour we did 7 ski touring trips, summited 10 2.000m+ mountains and made more then 8.000 vertical meters. We stayed on two differerent locations. The weather served us perfectly. The trips were guided in highly professional way. Grega is very experienced in reading snow conditions, setting the right pace, planning breaks and finding the best slopes to ski at the right hours. I felt safe and comfortable entire time. The logistic part, run by Anita, was executed very efficiently as well. We ate healthy food and were treated very kindly all the time. I would reccommend this tour to anybody who likes "real" ski touring - virgin, not to steep slopes in a bit remote and secluded places. You must be fit enough to make 5-8 hours long daily trips with 1.000-1.500 vm gain for a few days in a row, have decent off-piste ski capabilites and are a team player.
