It's not very nice place we went for a walk around 😕 bloody awful, I wouldn't bother , its a bit dodgy , if you go hire a driver he will walk around with you

One of the most interesting places I experienced in my days of traveling in the world. People very friendly and warm excited to show you around their country. Would go back if I could.
Real life in Gambia, look around you and you will see so much more.

What a beautiful whole, lots of sales on the street. It looks chaotic, but in the end it's not. A tip: check out Amsterdam Enterprise every taxi driver knows their way around. This Enterprise was set up by Malick, he imports many types of goods from Amsterdam/Netherlands and displays them in a large building. Everything from desks to Christmas decorations is for sale. Like our thrift stores. We realized that we really live in an over-consumption society and that Gambia is extremely POOR.

I throughly enjoyed my time with Ibrahim. He was a wealth of information about Banjul and was also patient with my numerous photo stops
