Free transportation from the 7 mile beach area and the cruise ship port. The boat is located in the newly renovated Cayman Islands Yacht Club where you'll depart from, once you arrive your captain will give you a safety briefing and you can decide what stops you want to do first. He'll have you sign a liability wavier and you'll be on your way out to the north sound (bay area) which is protected by the barrier reef where you'll do all your activities. On your way out your captain will tell you about the island and its history. At each stop you'll be briefed before entering the water to ensure everyone is comfortable and aware of their surroundings. Your stops will include: the infamous Stingray City, a must do for anyone visiting Grand Cayman and it is the ideal interaction for all ages. In our small and private group, you will have the opportunity of a lifetime to see our friendly stingrays. Coral Gardens, a great spot for the average snorkeler. The water is about 8-10 feet where you’ll have a memorable experience surrounded by many tropical fish, maybe catch a glimpse of a moray eel and even a Cayman lobster, who all flourish in the variety of colorful coral life! Starfish beach, a quiet and relaxing spot great for both kids and adults and is approx. 10 mins boat ride from Stingray City. This is one of the most requested tours offered. You’ll have the chance to walk on the shoreline and be captivated by the red and orange starfish which makes taking a photo extra special! Your boat will be a Chaparral 274 sunesta which can seat up 11 guests comfortably with its newly redone seats. Your boat will be equipped with snorkeling equipment and life vest for everyone, the boat also has a custom heavy duty ladder which makes in and out the water very easy, there is also a restroom on board as well as a cooler with ice, water and sodas. You are also welcome to bring along your own drinks or food.

Guide was fantastic. Easy to communicate with prior to departure. Tour had a taxi pick us up at our hotel and return us there after. Guide was willing to take us to do whatever we wanted for our three hours we had scheduled. Gave us options and accommodated anything we wanted to do. Super fun and knowledgeable. We all had a great time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic day on the water. The crew made sure we had everything we needed. We played with some stingrays and had a stop at Kaibo Beach for some refreshments—-mudslide for me!

It was a great adventure! We booked it last minute due to our cruise ship being rerouted. There was great communication leading up to our pick up, which went flawlessly. The private experience was great and I always recommend it. Every part was at our pace and not dictated to us. I highly recommend this excursion.

This was a no brainer, we were picked up in a private van with AC, met our great captain and his first mate (daughter) who were both so lovely and had interesting stories. First we had an amazing encounter with the stingrays, and were pulling away just as other overstuffed tour boats were arriving. The snorkeling was at a great spot with plenty of time and the equipment seemed newer and very clean. They were very mindful of the time and I didn't worry about missing our boat at all. This ended up being about the same cost person to do this private rental as doing a ship sponsored excursion - but without cheesy music or fighting for crowded bench space. The one change I'd suggest is having a bit more ice/additional or larger cooler - we bought some cans at the gift shop at the port and couldn't ice them all down.

We booked the 1/2 day private boat for two us. SeaRay City, Snorkel and Starfish beach were all great. It was a nice experience and I'd recommend it. Some of the larger boats we anchored next to had a lot of people on board. We wanted the personal experience with the smaller boat. Our Captain, Mr P., did just OK for us. He got us where we needed to be. He was very interested in chatting up the other captions whenever he could. For the first stop, it was the first time we entered the water using a small ladder at the back of the boat. I assumed he has done this enough times to know some people need help with that. He was already in the water chatting up his buddies when my wife slipped while getting on the ladder. She was fine (just bruised), but this could easily been avoided if the Captain was there to help people get in the water. Boat Tour - Good. Captain - Not So Much.

If you’re looking for a private boat experience for you and your family this is the right trip for you. Alex was a great captain, polite and very patient and he spent time explaining things to the family. Alex was great with the stingray’s and had a great ability to work with the species. The snorkeling part of the trip was fun the family got to see some cool marine life around the barrier reef. Finally Starfish island was great. Alex spent time explaining about the starfish and also provided us with a lot of knowledge of the island and made some fantastic restaurant recommendations.
