5.00Diogo was in contact the day before with pick-up arrangements and was waiting at port. He had suggestions to maximise our visit which gave us time to enjoy the island. He obviously is proud of his heritage and told us about local history and culture. We had a relaxing and very enjoyable time.

5.00From the very beginning, Diogo’s communication was excellent. He was responsive, clear, and made everything easy to arrange, which immediately gave us confidence. He is incredibly proud to showcase the very best sights of Madeira, and his knowledge of the island is truly impressive. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that passion really enhances the experience. Diogo is also very empathetic and attentive. He took wonderful care of my parents and my daughter, always making sure everyone felt comfortable and included. His English is fantastic. I can highly recommend Diogo as a guide — he made our visit to Madeira truly special.

5.00Diogo was very great and friendly from start to finish. We travelled with my daughter, and asked if a child seat could be provided and he brought one without any issue. She’s been so gentle and great with her all trip. Took us to beautiful places and told us so much about Madeira’s history. Has such great English well!

5.00My mom and I drove with Diogo for the second time. We came back because of the very positive experience we had two years ago. He was knowledgeable, friendly and very proud of his island. This time was just as good. He was considerate and patient - my mom walks with a stick - and we need good time for every stop. We never felt in a rush but just enjoyed the beautiful stops and sceneries appearing to us during our trip to the western side of Madeira. He is a pleasure to talk to and to learn from - because of very personal and empathetic approach to people. We will for sure call him again if/when we come back to Madeira

5.00I can highly recommend this tour, communication and pick up from the port was spot on even though we arrived in port later than agreed due to some bad weather. Diogo was extremely knowledgable and made sure we made the most of the tour and advised that because of the cloudy weather he could offer alternatives thereby making the most of the few hours we had (it was a stop over with a cruise) this worked very well for us, that is one of the benefits of booking a private tour with Diogo as he can change and make suggestions as you go. Excellent tour.
