  We all were very pleased with this tour. Diogo was great with reconfirming my reservation and reassuring he would be at the cruise terminal at the promised time. He was very prompt and picked us up at the Cruise terminal as promised with my name on his phone so we could easily find him! He advised we would be touring in a Mercedes van and we definitely did! It was very clean and temperature comfortable for that day was a bit warm. He was very informative about the island and the area we toured. We had the perfect amount of time to walk around the area on our own. We even stopped into a pub for a munch and drink! It was the right amount of time to tour and do our own thing.   The tour guide, Diogo, was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He was an excellent driver and made us feel very comfortable in his immaculately clean van. He was flexible with the itinerary.

  This was such a wonderful four hour tour — everything was perfect from start to finish! The pick-up was exactly on time at the pier, the car was immaculate and he gave each of us bottled water. Throughout the day we received so much interesting information about the island. We stopped at incredible viewpoints and many extra spots along the way, so we really got to discover the island, not just the typical tourist places. I’m so happy we chose Diogo. We were lucky to have him as our driver/guide. The price was great and we shared it with our two friends, total four people in the car. Diogo was very knowledgeable and professional, and we felt completely safe the whole time. If you want to truly see the island without the hassle of driving — and discover many more beautiful places than you could on your own — just book with Diogo’s company. We highly recommend them!

  Diogo was an absolutely fantastic driver for our tour of Madeira. He took us along the most breathtaking scenic routes and made sure we stopped at the best viewpoints. What really stood out was how flexible and personalized the experience felt. Diogo adapted the tour to our pace and interests, making it feel like a private adventure rather than a generic trip. On top of that, he was incredibly friendly and professional throughout. We felt completely at ease from start to finish.   So worth doing. Diogo was amazing, perfect English, very chatty, knowledgeable and super proud of his island. He slightly altered the tour to adapt to the weather so that we had the best experience. Can’t recommend highly enough. He also does airport transfers so we booked him for those too.   Lovely tour , Ricardo was an excellent driver, very knowledgeable friendly, knew where to take us, had great fun going down the hills in a whicker basket. Lovely little fishing village stop o route. Would recommend anytime.

  We did two guided tours of Madeira covering both the east and west sides with Luis and Ricardo, and they were a real highlight of our trip. Both guides were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing great insights about the island, and were always friendly, happy, and full of energy.   Amazing tour with Ricardo! Half day visiting sites of this beautiful island. We highly recommend this tour. Ricardo spoke perfect English sharing history and facts about the island, he also had great recommendations on where to try local food outside of Funchal. If you have time in the Fisherman village ask Diogo or Ricardo where to eat and have a lunch, try delicious local Seafood.

  Diogo gave us a private tour around the island. He made it really kid friendly and gave us child friendly options, while the adults got to look at the fantastic scenery. He was very knowledgeable. His English is amazing. Super friendly.
