Lake Toya

Lake Toya is a beautiful caldera lake between Hakodate and Sapporo. A super active volcano Mt. Usu is around the lake, and you can witness the real-time crustal activity.

Jigokudani

Jigokudani is an explosion crater located in Noboribetsu town. The rocky crater is covered by sulfur, and so much steam is still blowing up. Japanese people see it as a unique view, and believe it is like “Hell”. Noboribetsu has a Ninja village and a famous bear park as well.

Mitsui Outlet Park, Sapporo Kitahiroshima

Asahiyama Zoo

Asahiyama zoo is one of the most famous zoo in Japan. This Zoo is a world pioneer of "Behavioural exhibits”, which exhibits the animals as they live in the real nature. You can enjoy the common animal exhibitions, but the most famous show is the penguins' walk during the winter. If you want to see the Penguins’ walk in the summer, you can see it at Nixe Aquarium near Noboribetsu.

Biei-cho

If you are visiting in the summer, you can’t miss visiting Mizudashi park in Kyogoku town. Sweet, beautiful, clear fresh water is directly splashing from the Mt. Yotei, and you can enjoy the rich nature.

Ganso Hakodate Asaichi

If you are a seafood lover, you must visit the Morning Market in Hakodate. It is cheaper than other markets around Sapporo, and the shops are super friendly, and you can enjoy the environment.
