Aloha Paddle Club is the only paddleboard and surf center in Playa del Carmen with a spot right on the beach. You can use our lockers, bathroom, shower, bar & restaurant right in the center. Aloha is home of the famous and popular Sunrise Session. Learn the fastest growing water sport in the world in this private class for one or more persons by one of our super friendly, awesome and very experienced instructors. During this class we will teach you the basics and more, with eye for your (fitness) level and of course your safety.

You'll be greeted at our club on the beach by your instructor. There is the chance to store your belongings and use the bathroom. After that you will receive a 15 minute introduction to standup paddleboarding on the beach. Now that you know the basics, like position on the board, paddle techniques and some safety points you are ready to go practice on the sea with your instruction. You will have one hour to paddleboard on the sea where you will receive more instructions if needed. After the class you are more than welcome to stay at Fusion to shower, enjoy food and drinks, use the beach beds (minimum consumption required), a massage and later on at 6 pm there are live bands.

I booked a private paddleboard lesson yesterday, and I do not regret it. My lesson, by two instructors Sander and Roberto, was involved, professional, thorough and fun. There's a lot to know about paddleboarding, and they patiently went through every detail with me. They were also very encouraging during the experience. Afterwards, I spent the day at the beach club and enjoyed the rest of the day on clean sunbeds facing the beautiful turquoise water and had great food and drinks. I will definitely be going back for more lessons as soon as I return!

It was my first time, and a unique experience which I want to do again, all the team super friendly and attentive especially coach Roberto, who is always attentive that you feel comfortable and safe, 100% Recommended

We took a private SUP lesson with Sander and loved it! He was thorough, informative and gave us confidence for our first time on a board. We enjoyed our class with him and had a wonderful time. You will not find a better mentor or a more enjoyable person to spend some time with on the water. We were thrilled with the entire experience!

My son and I had so much fun this morning with sander, josh, my son is autistic so it was a bit of a gamble trying something like this but sander was so understanding and calm josh just relaxed and had a fantastic time, thank you once again

My wife took a private paddleboard class with Sander yesterday. It was a great experience. Sander was very enthusiastic about his job and extremely patient during the lesson. We will go back again for more practice.

We had the best experience with Sander. The land training was great and helped build our confidence for when we entered the water. We all loved every minute, Sander was great at guiding and instructing us in the sea and changed boards for both my son and husband when he felt they would benefit from a different size. It definitely gave us the passion to take paddleboarding up as a hobby and we can’t wait to put all our training into further practice. Thank you again for the best morning!
