3.00The experience was good, but it was much more expensive than advertised. The ring you pay for when you book is tiny and you have to pay quite a bit more to have one that’s a proper size. The vendor contacts you to tell you this after booking which I thought was a bit off. I think this information should be included in the listing. The actual making of the ring only takes about 5-10 minutes, and involves tapping the ring with a hammer to give it texture. This was fun but I wanted to do a bit more. The staff were lovely and the experience felt very professional. I do really like the ring I came out with.

5.00My 19-year old daughter and I had a fun and memorable time making Tankin rings together. Miyu was great! She thoroughly explained everything & checked on us at every step. We now have great souvenirs to remember our trip to Okinawa! And the store is in a great location, on the coast, with lots of shops & eateries nearby

5.00Very nice and personal make-your-own ring workshop, led by very attentive staff. A little more information: the cost of the workshop (60-90 mins) is about 20 euro per person. That obviously does not include the ring itself. You start with choosing the material, width and shape of your ring. Prices range from silver (very affordable - a couple of tenners) to a thousand euro for most expensive material / width. The workshop cost that you already paid to viator is then subtracted from the price. Next, you get to choose between three types of finishes (or a combination) to the ring that you will be applying yourself with specialised hammers. The staff then applies the finishing touches. During those minutes we got treated to a personal serenade by one of the staff members & her okinawan "banjo". All in all a lovely personal experience for a special occasion 😊.
