Sunset in Oia
Optional visit: See the iconic blue domed churches, marbled paved floors, scenic pathways, plenty open-air cafes, restaurants, art galleries and a large shopping area. Oia is one of the most photographed places in the world, situated on top of an impressive cliff and offers spectacular views. The village has several cultural attractions such as: The maritime museum, traces of a Venetian fortress and the captains houses. You may as well see the cave houses used to be the homes of ship crews, and the neo-classical architecture, when the village was inhabited by the affluent class of ship owners. The world famous sunset in Oia is available by choosing an afternoon departure.

5.00Giannis was an excellent tour guide. I highly recommend him. He truly immersed us in his island. He showed us 80% of the area including Oia, the Red Beach, Black Beach, monasteries, mountains, chapels and homes. We came upon a man playing a guitar and Giannis danced for us with great joy in his heart. His stories of Greek life, work and family were so real to us. He made the last day of our cruise truly the best!,

5.00Michael was terrific. He was very informed on Santorini history and very cordial in his delivery of info. Very sensitive to our wishes as to what we have seen and he would modify on the fly if needed. Most interesting for us was the monastery, gorgeous views of all of Santorini. Michael is a 5 star guide.

5.00There were ten of us in our group and we were in two different vehicles! Our tour guides were Michael and Kostas. They were great! They were there early at our meeting point and started the tour early even if we were half hour early. We also finished a little past the allotted time but they were very gracious about it. They were very professional, hospitable, and knowledgeable of their town and its history. They recommended a great gyro place that is very reasonable in price and very tasty as well. There were no side trips where we will be talked into buying their products. It was pure touring the great attractions of Santorini! At the end, they also gave each one of us a little memento as a trip souvenir! Highly recommended! To Michael and Kostas, thanks so much for a great time!

5.00I had been communicating with George about our planned tour. After getting to the region I realized we would not be able to complete our tour due to time constraints with the ship. I changed our tour to a shorter time and then on the day the winds were too high, the port was closed and we were unable to get on the island. Although I am unable to rate the actual tour, if my experience is an indication of the tour, I give them 5+ stars
