This activity is an amazing experience for those of all ages. At Crystal River Manatee Adventures we try our absolute best to make it a once in a lifetime trip. The day starts with free parking at our shop and then we provide transportation down to the boat, just a short drive away. We will then take a ride out to the Gulf of Mexico and find a spot where we think we’ll find lots of scallops! With the trip all equipment (mask, snorkel, and fins) is included. We also have a cooler filled with water and ice on the boat, which you can use for any food or beverages you bring along with you. We also provide an in water guide for the trip to help collect your daily limit on scallops. After our time is complete in the Gulf, we will then return to King’s Bay where we will give you the chance to hop into one of our beautiful springs to swim around and check out before heading back to the dock.

This activity begins at our shop where you’ll then be transported down to the boat. From there we have a nice boat ride out to the Gulf of Mexico. Your captain will find a great spot where he thinks the scallops will be plentiful, upon finding our spot the in-water guide who will be assisting you to collect your scallops will go over a quick demonstration on what to do and look for. From that point on the scallop adventure begins!

5.00We had an amazing trip today with myself and two kids seven and 12 years old. The captain was so knowledgeable he took us at the right time to the right place and that’s what important for scalloping. We had so much fun and full bucket of scallops thank you guys very much and we will come back.

5.00This was our second scalloping season with Captain Todd and we had such a great time with him and his wife! We will absolutely be back next year for season again, they know great spots to find more scallops than we could even eat.

Todd and Leah were so knowledgeable, professional, and fun! Great people and a great adventure. We will always book with them from now on!!!!

5.00We had a blast ! Todd and Leah were a lot of fun and great guides. We’d highly recommend this if you’re here during scallop season. Relaxing and laid back AND got to enjoy a lot of fresh scallops we just caught - cooked by a local restaurant. Personable, informative and fun. We will be back !

5.00We booked 2 boats with captain Todd and his wife today and had a fantastic time. He knows the water well, which is super important you find someone who does bc we have seen several spots where boats hit the shallow rocks! Todd’s wife Heidi is a fantastic scalloper and their Boat is amazing and smooth! They made us feel comfortable, watched out for us and our kids and were fantastic company. We will find him again next season and maybe even this winter for the manatees. Thanks Todd! -The Kurtz Fam

5.00Todd communicated clearly and was a great captain and Leah did a great job of making sure we didn’t walk away until handed. It was a beautiful day and a great trip.
