Enjoy the Osaka Castle grounds as we walk to the Osaka Castle. Whether we chose to enter the castle or not, there will be plenty to see along the way.

5.00Michelle did a great job tailoring our Osaka tour to “must see” locations and sprinkled in a few hidden gems in between stops. She can adjust the pace from fast to slow wherever desired. We asked her many questions and enjoyed her explanations of Japanese culture both past and present. She has outstanding American English and a bubbly fun personality.

1.00Guide claims she showed up but we waited for an hour and no one showed up. We paid $390 for two people and received nothing. Do not book with Viator. Viator refused to refund our payment.

5.00Michelle was incredible! This was easily one of the best tours we’ve taken, and she’s one of the best guides we’ve had across all the countries we’ve visited. Her energy, knowledge, and love for Osaka made the city come alive in a way we’ll never forget. From hidden local spots to the stories behind Osaka’s food and culture, every part of the experience felt authentic and personal. We left with a much deeper appreciation for the city and can’t recommend this tour enough!

5.00Michelle, our guide, was excellent. She took us to the Osaka castle using public transportation which was an experience. She also took us to several other places offering much information. She speaks perfect english which is a plus. She’s knowledgeable and very personable. Would highly recommend her.

5.00We enjoyed our tour experience with City Panorama so much the last time, that when visiting Japan again with our friends, we had to book with them again. This tour is tailored to what our group is most interested in, and there was just enough information to have us dive deeper into our Japan experience, without it feeling like a school trip. 5.00Michelle is a fantastic guide who communicated well from initial booking to our meet up during our cruise stop in Kobe. Her English is perfect since she’s American Japanese. She tailored our day based on our interests (ie beauty/ skincare for my daughter and local eats for my hubby) plus we hit all the key sites such as Osaka Castle, Dotombori, Namba, and more! It did rain for a little bit and the upside was it cooled down the July heat and reduced crowds. We learned history, fun facts, and the best place to taste Kobe beef. Thanks for an incredible day!

5.00We docked in Kobe, then took the train to Osaka. It was closer than we expected. We visited what was on our must-go, to Osaka Castle, Kuromon Market, Dotonbori. Michelle then suggested a couple other places, including a temple that uses its followers ashes to create their statues. . We enjoyed all that we saw, as well enjoyed Michelle’s energy and sense of humor. She gave us an in-depth view of Japan besides the tourists spots too. Highly recommend her.

5.00Our tour guide, Michelle, was fantastic. She gave us great recommendations for sites to visit, where to eat, gave lots of information about Japanese culture and helped us quickly navigate trains. Really terrific!😀

5.00We met Michelle at the JR Kobe railway station and we took the train to Osaka. First stop was the Osaka Castle and then the busy, busy downtown market area. We had Sumo Wrestling tickets we had to pick up and Michelle was an angel helping us to finally pick them up for the tournament next day. I was ready to give up due to the complexities involved, but Michelle persevered and she was successful. Lastly our visit to the Isshinji Temple was amazing.
