In this 1.5-hour workshop, you’ll discover the story behind Delft Blue — a centuries-old Dutch tradition — and paint your own ceramic tile to take home as a personal and lasting souvenir of Amsterdam. No painting experience? No problem. With easy-to-follow examples and plenty of guidance, this hands-on session is perfect for beginners and creatives alike. Whether you're just curious or already love working with ceramics, this workshop offers a fun and relaxed introduction to this iconic craft. The workshop is held in our cozy Colour on clay atelier in the garden of my home, during sunny days we sit outside in the lovely garden. By the end, you’ll leave with your own hand-painted tile — and a new appreciation for this beautiful piece of Dutch heritage.

This was a lovely class. There were 5 in attendance, the artist was delightful. None of the group considered themselves artistic but we all produced fantastic pieces.

We had a very nice experience at Liesje. She immediately put us at ease, the atmosphere was very friendly, she gave us professional, good tips and we went home with a nice result. Very much enjoyed, highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing afternoon thanks to Liesje. We came with a group of friends to attend a workshop. We were able to experiment and be our creative selves. Liesje is an experienced cheerful lady, the perfect host. We will definitely be back!

It was a pleasant afternoon full of creativity and fun. We made a nice tile, where we could use handy templates that made designing extra easy and fun. The atmosphere was relaxed and everyone had a good time. The host was super nice and made sure everything went smoothly, which made the experience even more pleasant. All in all a successful activity!

It was a great experience and a lot of fun. We felt very welcome and were always motivated by the hostess as far as painting went. An additional plus was that the whole thing took place in a private household and we had the opportunity to look "behind the scenes". Thank you for this lovely afternoon!

It was a great expirience. We had a lot of fun and support. It al takes place in a private Household, so it was the very first tome for us "to look behind the curtains". Also a very nice and friendly atmosphere. We felt very welcome and i recommend it for everyone👍🤩 Thanks so much again
