Enjoy an exclusive excursion - without other participants - to the plateau of the Zugspitze (2,962 metres) glacier.
The trip starts in the morning, with pick up at your Garmisch-Partenkirchen accommodation. Cool drinks and snacks will be waiting for you in a comfortable vehicle.
As soon as we have arrived at the beautiful Eibsee, one of the most beautiful lakes in Bavaria, the new Zugspitz cable car (opened 2017) will take us very close to the highest peak in Germany. During your stay on the plateau you will learn interesting information about the region's history and its role in World War II - plus you will enjoy a tasty traditional lunch inside the Panorama Lounge 2962!
After our "at the top of Germany" experience, we will have a stop in Garmisch-Partenkirchen - the venue of the 1936 Olympic Games. After all we will head back to the agreed starting point or hotel/accommodation!

5.00Sepp is a top notch, 5 Star guide! He is very knowledgeable on all things Munich and many other places but what sets him apart is his attention to detail. He communicates upon booking about personal interests, timing and what to expect. He has a great sense of humor, is fun and easy to talk to. He was prepared everywhere we went, patient when we wanted to go sledding, even encouraging us to try it! We are so glad we went sledding at Zugspitze because it was a blast! He shared fun stories that only a local would know, shared suggestions on where to eat and things to do. We felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend at the end of our day together!

5.00It was an incredible experience! Sepp is an excellent guide. First we went to Zugspitze, the top of Germany, where we took lots of photos and had a coffee with a wonderful view. Afterwards we went to lunch at a great restaurant of typical food and, afterwards, to Linderhof Castle. It's worth taking this trip with Sepp. I recommend
