Pre-book a private pick-up transfer from Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan to Fenghuang old town area ,and enjoy a smooth start to your trip. On the way, we can stop at Furong old town area and can visit the Furong old town as well, but we can skip it if you don't want to go there.

Our driver will meet you at any hotels of the Zhangjiajie or Wulingyuan area at 9:00am or any time before 12:00pm, Zhangjiajie is 244KM away from Fenghuang, The journey takes 6-7 hours by private car, because we also need to stops at the Furong old town area, If we don't stops at Furong old town area, just take a 3 hours. Wangcun is located in Yongshun County of Western Hunan Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture. It is also known as “Furong Town” as a famous movie entitled the name was filmed there in 1986. The 2000-year-old town is built on a huge rock near the Wangcun Waterfall, making it a great spectacle.

We did a 7 days trip to the 3 cities. Nature around Zhangjiajie is awesome and varied, the Fox lady show was wonderful, Furong was a positive surprise with the waterfall within the 2000 year old town and illumination at night was incredible. Fenghuang was very impressive and very romantic. The night illumination is ok but for our taste it may go too far. The bar and life music scene is very entertaining. Our tour guide Liz was outstanding, knowledgeable, flexible and very friendly. We enjoyed a lot her company. We organized the tour through Vivien Li, from Yangtze-river -cruises. She is highly professional, responsive, flexible and very easy to communicate with. She really responds to your needs. Overall an unforgettable experience.

Fenghuang is considered the Mecca of Photographers. It is simply an unmissable walk. We went for 1 day and returned the next day, since the hotel capacity was saturated, if not, it is to stay and travel calmly, stopped in time for at least 3 days. There are hundreds of corners, and each one is a postcard at night and/or day. If you have already arrived in deep China, and are in Zhangjiajie, go to Fenghuang, it is something very different Recommendation: At least until 2019 it was a problem to change dollars to yen, no one received a credit card from a “Western” bank, you have to have cash or you will have difficulty even paying for a meal. Hire the hotel and pay in advance. Walking and getting lost on the river bank or the thousands of alleys is an UNFORGETTABLE experience.

love the view . furong old town and very beautiful waterfalls . Fenghuang beautiful too. I am happy and satisfied with this tour. we are have a great time and big thanks to our tour guide and driver.
