  Communications prior to the activity were timely and complete. I was told that they would track my flight and respond to changes of schedule if necessary. This was helpful as there was about a one hour delay. Very nice, current model and comfortable vehicle. Driver made himself easy to find amongst a large group of travelers. His digital name display was very effective. Driver, Oscar, presented as professional in his attire, mannerisms, and genuine concern for the needs and comfort of the passengers. A very busy traffic area, combined with an accident in our path, made for a long, difficult trip as was raining and conducted largely in the darkness. He di a very good, job.

  Diego was a wonderful tour guide and driver. As a travel agent, I will definitely recommend him to other agents and clients. We booked the transfer to our resort, then contacted him for a day of touring. He provided ideas and suggestions on places to visit and took us to the most authentic locations! Book this one!

  We were picked up from our hotel in a very nice and new shuttle. Diego was about 10 minutes early and he was courteous and friendly, a good and safe driver. We had 2 quick pit stops on our way there, first for some coffee and quick restroom break and then at a fruit stand where they had very fresh and delicious coconuts, mangoes, and rambutan in season. We would highly recommend this company.

  Excellent communication with Diego before my trip, easy to arrange transportation, reasonable prices. My driver was Carlos, he picked me up at SJO, drove to my first destination. Clean large air conditioned car. Carlos is polite, speaks English well. Felt very safe. In 4 days Carlos took me to my next destination, again, smooth comfortable ride. After a few days Carlos took me to SJO, arrived on time, advised me on pick up time. Highly recommend this team.

  Diego and his team at Private Travel Costa Rica, including Eddie and Carlos, truly made our first trip to Costa Rica unforgettable. We were initially debating whether to rent a car or use a transport service, and choosing Diego's team was undoubtedly the best decision we made. The cost of hiring them for two weeks was comparable to renting a car, but without the stress of driving, navigating, parking fees, and worrying about potential break-ins. From the moment we arrived at SJO, Diego and his team took exceptional care of us. They transported us seamlessly to La Fortuna, Manuel Antonio, Puerto Jimenez, and back to SJO.   If you need transportation around Costa Rica, I highly recommend Diego. He picked us up at our San Jose hotel and seamlessly transferred us to La Fortuna. And while in La Fortuna, he was able to provide us with transport to activities and connect us with key tours. Diego’s the best. I highly recommend his services.

  I believe I was the 3rd customer for this driver. So many positives: * Driver offered his assistance after I made my reservation (2 months ahead). He was willing to answer any questions about Costa Rica and La Fortuna * Spoke excellent English * Clean van inside and out * Even had WiFi in the van * Good A/C in the van. Strong engine in the van during the uphill climbs * One of the very few that I could find that would pick up at a San Jose hotel. In my case, I had 2 parties in 2 different hotels which he happily obliged. * Knew of a minimart pitstop with free and clean washrooms I would definitely hire this driver again!

  Diego always was very much on time and is a great driver. We booked a transfer from San Jose airport to La Fortuna and then for an 8 hour tour to Puerto Jímenez. Diego is a great driver and we felt safe and comfortable all the time.
