What To Expect

We provide private transfers between Trieste Port and Venice, including Marco Polo Airport and Venice City (Santa Lucia train station or Piazzale Roma). Transfers from Venice Marco Polo Airport or Venice City to Trieste are also available, with convenient drop-off options at hotels or the cruise ship port. If you have a specific pick-up or drop-off location, please let us know in a message. Please note: Venice is a unique city built on water, with canals instead of roads. Cars are not allowed past Piazzale Roma, the last point accessible by vehicle. If your hotel is located inside Venice, we can take you only to Piazzale Roma or Santa Lucia train station. From there, you’ll need to continue by water taxi or vaporetto, as the rest of the city can only be reached by boat or on foot. For Venice City drop-offs, we recommend Piazzale Roma for easy hotel access via water transport. Our fleet includes standard cars, vans, and double vans, accommodating 1 to 16 passengers for a personalized experience. Vehicle Capacity Options: Standard Car: Up to 4 passengers, 3 suitcases, and carry-on luggage Van: Up to 8 passengers, 10 suitcases, and carry-on luggage Double Van: Up to 16 passengers and 20 suitcases We aim to provide comfortable, reliable transportation tailored to your needs. Very professional! Safe, clean vehicles. Only downside was we had to pay extra for the water taxi to our hotel. This was not originally disclosed during our booking.

Our group did not have good experience with this transfer. Avoid this if you want to get to Venice without delay. First, we were told to expect a transfer for 12, what we received were two vehicles, the First seated four - uncomfortably. The driver had never been on this route, did not speak English, and eventually got hopelessly lost. The second vehicle, a van did not seat the comfortably fit the remaining eight people; we were one on top of the other. Finally, the luggage too forever to fit into either vehicle, and when I asked for another car, I was told nothing was left. The driver of the van who spoke some English told the “boss” to never call him again for a job. Later, over drinks we laughed it off, but do yourself a favor and avoid this clown show.

Driver texted me his picture & car picture as well as having my name on his hand held sign. Easy to find him. Peter also directed us to the water taxi location when we arrived in Venice to continue into the city.

Viator provided my wife and me a fast, efficient, and friendly transfer from the cruise Port of Trieste to the Venice Marco Polo Airport. We couldn't be more pleased, unless it were less expensive.
