Excavations have unearthed only part of the ancient city, so much of the ancient Herculaneum still remains buried underground. Currently, most of the archaeological park that can be visited is made up of private homes of the imperial age of different types. Entrance ticket to the Archaeological Park of Herculaneum (16€ - free under 18 with document)

The typical Roman thermal system of Herculaneum is very well preserved and allows us to see the gym, the changing room and the rooms intended for warm and warm baths.

5.00It is well worth it having a small group, ie no more than three people. You tend to ask more questions of your personal guide. The tour was fantastic, so informative and carried out in a relaxed manner. Martina was an expert and we had the most perfect tour.

5.00We loved our tour of the Herculaneum! Our tour guide, Annalisa made everything extremely interesting - skipping the mundane things and focusing on the places she knew we would find more exciting. She was very informative, super nice, and extremely patient with us and all our questions. lol We all had a great time! Highly recommend this tour.
