  The driver was waiting for me once I exited the airport. He was very helpful and got me to my hotel quickly. He was very nice and gave me some great advice.

  First time using Joel's car service and we were very pleased. Driver was friendly and on time, car was clean . Will use again for airport transfers on our next trip.

  This year my wife and I booked a trip to Casa Marina Resort in Sosua. It was not a package deal so no ground Transportation was included. That meant getting a taxi at the Puerto Plata airport. Prior to going I found “ Joel Rivera Taxi” on Facebook and contacted them, and reserved a taxi to pick us up on the 17th January. They kept in touch with us as time for our trip neared insuring they would be at the airport. As they stated Joel was at the airport with a sign with my name on it when we arrived. He had a newer van that provided a comfortable ride. His price for the ride was the $25.00 going rate that most taxis use for that trip. I was impressed with this service so made arrangements to use it again to attend an orphanage to take some clothes, toys, and treats to for the children. Joel was again on time with his pickup. He took us there and back helping to distribute some of the toys to the children. When our holiday was over there was only one taxi service that I was going to call. Again Joel was there on time. If you are in the Puerto Plata, Sosua, Cabarete area in the Dominican Republic and require ground transportation contact “Joel Rivera Taxi Cabarete”. You will not regret it.   Joel provided excellent service to and from the airport, and he also took me around to sights, restaurants, beaches, and shops throughout my stay. He is friendly, reliable, and knowledgeable. I am truly grateful for his help. He really made my trip great!

  Joel was there for us last minute when another taxi didn't show up. We were so grateful for his professionalism and punctuality. Knowing we had someone we could depend on for trips to the grocery store and sites around Sosua and even into Puerto Plata to visit the Brugal Factory and Terleferrico made our trip so much better.
