The tour begins base nearby the Mýrdalsjökull glacier in South Iceland. We start by going over the tour plan and safety instructions. From the base we cross some small rivers and head down to the black lava sands fields which derives from the dormant volcano Katla. Down by the black beach we stop and enjoy the amazing view up to the Mýrdalsjökull glacier and along the coast to the southernmost part of Iceland, the small peninsula Dyrhólaey. We then head along the coast to the famous aircraft wreck, from there we continue to the river Jökulsá and up to the foot of the mountain. Upon our return we follow the mountain back to the base. The ATV experience itself lasts approximately 2 hours. You will ride 2 people per ATV, with one driving and one as a passenger. If you are traveling alone, or in an odd-numbered group (3, 5, 7 etc.) there is an additional charge payable locally for single riders. The adventure will provide stunning photo opportunities in good weather, so don't forget to bring your camera! You will be provided with everything you need for a safe and comfortable ride. No ATV experience is required to take part and the skill level for this activity is deemed as 'easy'.

Highly recommend. We had a lot of fun. You get to go fast at times and plenty of time for pictures. Jordy made the experience great. We drove through canyons, on the beach and got to the fallen plane. It was wonderful

Great quad bike ride. Black beaches, through creeks, and finally into the snowy mountains. 3 stops with a nice explanation from the guide Bjarki. Nice experience. Recommended

This was sick! We went along some gravel tracks, a black sand beach, through some creeks and saw two planes on the way as well. It was really fun, would definitely recommend!

Very fun tour with a quad bike. A lot of puddles and different types of surfaces with makes it very fun and challenging. Made a stop at the beach, plane and even a canyon which is normally not included. Our guide Hinrik made it also extra fun with picture tips, information and was really calm and nice

What a great experience! I had a lot of fun driving the quad in those beautiful icelandic landscapes! Even though I'm not always confidante driving it was actually very easy! Our guide Hinrik explain everything super well, not just about the driving and the quad but he give us a lot of information about iceland and the area ! He was amazing, you will be very lucky to have him as a guide !
