Lake Mansion
The Lake Mansion in Reno, built in 1877 as a symbol of upper-middle-class affluence, has a haunting legacy tied to its original owner, Myron Lake, who was never allowed to live in the house. 5.00We had a lot of fun on our ghost tour in downtown Reno. Because our guide Paul is from Reno, we learned a lot about the history of specific buildings, got to use an EVP device at a couple of the properties, and thoroughly enjoyed the tour.

5.00Debbie was excellent. She was a wealth of knowledge about Reno history and tales of intrigue. Highly recommended. She recently had an off night but she was point on during my tour.

2.00This tour with Debbie is not recommended. Her energy was low, voice not that audible, would trail off and forget where she was at, was coughing and hacking, and had an injured arm she complained of every 10 minutes. The tour lasted 30 minutes longer than advertised and two people in the group wanted to leave before it was even over. The other two paid for an extended tour but declined the extension at the end. The potential for the tour is there but I wouldn't recommend it with this guide, unfortunately.
