This exciting tour will take you through an unforgettable experience in the majestic Andes mountain range. You will find yourself in the middle of nature, surrounded by imposing mountain peaks.
We will do a two and a half hour horseback ride through the winding trails of the mountain range. Feel the cool breeze caressing your face while you explore breathtaking landscapes. The sound of the horses' hooves echoing on the rocky ground will connect you with the energy of the earth.
As you go, the panoramic view of the Andes will take your breath away. You can admire the diversity of flora and fauna that inhabits this mountainous region. If you're lucky, you might spot condors soaring majestically overhead.
This adventure in the Andes mountain range will allow you to connect with nature, explore spectacular landscapes and experience the local culture in a unique way.

We will make an impressive horseback ride through the Andes Mountains accompanied by local muleteers. After picking them up at their lodgings we will go to Villa Paulina, located inside the Yerba Loca Park. From Villa Paulina (1900 masl) our horseback ride takes approximately an hour and a half to the Alemán refuge (2400 masl). On the way we will observe part of the local flora and fauna, glaciers and several important hills of the central region of Chile. The return to Villa Paulina lasts approximately one hour. At the end of the ride there will be time to eat and make use of the facilities (bathrooms, tables, etc.)

5.00Just fantastic. Meeting INDO PRO CHILE was a pleasant surprise. We did the horse ride in the Andes and it was definitely the best ride of life. Besides the wonderful tour, it was a unique experience and we will definitely recommend. The guides Felipe and Juan were a fundamental part of the experience, they are very friendly and nice. Congratulations. FANTASTIC!!!

5.00Unmatched experience in Chile! Unique view, guide Juan a very nice guy and a great barbecue at the end of the tour! If you are looking for a tour to stay in memory and without the tumult of agencies that only want your money this is the tour. It's worth every penny and it will definitely be the first ride we'll repeat when we return to Chile and we'll make sure it's with Juan again.

5.00We just arrived from the horseback and it was just amazing. When my girlfriend chose this tour I thought it would be quite simple but it was by far the best so far. Organized agency, our guide Juan was very solicitory. Congratulations on your work!!!

1.00DO NOT book this tour through TripAdvisor or Viator! They charged us an extra $100 each compared to the same trip directly through the tour operator. Previous reviews mentioned a Chilean BBQ at the end, however we were told ours was not included (despite paying extra). We subsisted on our own snacks for 7 hours in the mountains. TripAdvisor refused to acknowledge their mistake or to give us a partial refund. We feel we were taken advantage because we are Americans. What a horrible way to start our honeymoon! We will never use them again. As for the actual horse ride, it was actually quite amazing and our guide Alberto was extremely nice and tried to help us out. If you want to take this tour, only book through the tour operator.

5.00I say without a doubt that this was the best trip I took while I was in Chile! My husband and I had never ridden a horse and we were a little afraid. Diego assured us it would be smooth sailing - and indeed it was, he and Raul instructed and helped us all the way. The tour is small in number of people and Diego, in addition to being very attentive and kind, gives a class on environmental, historical and social aspects of Chile. The route itself is beautiful from beginning to end, with wonderful landscapes and the silence and peace of the mountain. At the end, we walked a little through the Yerba Loca park visitor center (which has a stream and a house nearby) and had a picnic there, with various items such as cheese, wine, fruit and chocolate. Anyway, I just have to say thank you and I highly recommend it! :)
