After picking you up from your hotel we head to Country World Adventure Park, located in Maimón, just a 15-minute drive from Puerto Plata City. After the meet and greet at the Country House Bar, you will get equipped for the zip lines. Also, a bottle of fresh drinking water will be attached to your harness, to make sure you stay well hydrated during the Zip Lining. After the safety briefing, it's time to feel the adrenaline on the 8 ACCT certified zip lines, with a total length of more than 7,900 feet of double, galvanized aircraft steel cable. On a relaxing countryside horseback ride, you can enjoy some breathtaking views. The horseback ride included in this package is meant to be for beginners and children as well. We take the time to provide full basic riding instructions to our customers. Depending on riding skills and experience, the right horse will be found for everybody. Now it's time for a delicious, home-cooked Dominican lunch, consisting of rice, beans, chicken, fried plantains, vegetables, etc... If you're still up for more, take a refreshing plunge from our pool zip line. After a walk through our tropical garden and petting zoo we take you back to your hotel.

5.00From the moment they picked us up to the time they dropped us off, the staff with Country World Adventures were beyond amazing!! They treated us just like family. Rosairy was a fabulous guide. She told us things about the D.R., the local area, and we had Spanish lessons. She even took some of our photos and videos. So much fun! The ziplining was so much fun. Walking between each one can be a bit much on an extremely hot day, but it's so worth it. We loved all 8 lines. Horseback riding through the country was relaxing and lots of fun. We also had the opportunity to walk through the garden, looking at the fruit trees and birds. Rich, the photographer, captured a lot of photos. There are too many favorites to choose from. The food....OMG!! I'm gluten free, which I thought may present a problem. Absolutely not. I was able to enjoy the delicious Dominican food. If only we could have taken some with us. My stomach was so happy. We're grateful to everyone. Apologies to those whose names we didn't remember. It's definitely not because you were forgettable. There was just so much to take in from one of our best sister trips. Thank you so much!

5.00On an NCL cruise and booked this excursion independently. Pick up was where described based on communication/email which was great. Some confusion with driver getting our group together. He did make an extra stop to drop someone at ATV’s and another by a local store which ate up some of our time. Upon arrival it was well organized and we were soon on our way to begin the zip lines which were great! Loved how they progressed and enjoyed all of them even the tallest which scared us a little but was so worth it. The team does braking for you so you don’t have to worry. They also took photos which I did purchase in cash and we did negotiate the price. We were a little nervous about time as we had a 3:30pm all aboard, it was 30+ minutes from Tamino bay so after our zips we skipped the horses and simply relaxed with a drink from the bar, enjoyed the delicious lunch and then asked if we could be on a shuttle by 2pm. The staff was more than accommodating and we probably could have squeezed in the trail ride. We were back on board with 23 minutes to spare but it was good not to rush. It was our decision not to ride and no issue with the staff. I just had no interest in being a “pier runner”!

5.00This was an amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and helpful! The farm was well run, in excellent condition and so many things to do! The horse back ridding was fun and saw amazing views. The zip lining was awesome!

5.00We had the most amazing time with this tour. Our family of 4 including my 3 year old and 6 year old did the zip line and horseback riding adventure. The staff was outstanding, friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate for my kids who wanted to zipline solo. Safety was always top priority while they made everything so much fun! I cannot thank the staff enough for how amazing they were. Thank you all again!!

5.00Loved this place. The zip lining was one of the best we’ve done. The views are amazing. The horseback riding was lots of fun also. They take great safety measures. The Dominican lunch was delicious and portions were huge. We lucked out that we booked on a day with no cruises in port and had the place all to ourselves. All in all a great day!

5.00Incredible adventure! Our guides were amazing and so welcoming. I went solo and met great people on my tour. We shared a delicious lunch cooked for only 7 of us! It was very well organized. Just note that the ziplining definitely requires good physical fitness because there is a lot of uphill/stair climbing in between each station.

5.00Daniel and his team at Country World Adventures were extremely friendly and we had a great time ziplining and horseback riding. We were the only couple at the entire facility so we had essentially a private tour! The pickup was prompt and the drive over to their facility was very smooth. Our driver Daniel was friendly and explained the local sights that we passed. Once we got there, Daniel greeted us and we found out we were the only visitors that day. We have been ziplining in multiple places and Country World's ziplines were very exciting and safe. After, we went horseback riding which lasted about 45 minutes. The horses were well trained and gentle. Finally, the Dominican lunch was extremely delicious. While we lucked out by getting a smaller experience we're sure that everyone would have fun. We would definitely come back to try out the ATVs!

5.00We were on a shore excursion. It was a little hike to completely exit the port area but I turned on my phone and Daniel told us where to go. I've been on LOTS of shore excursions but this one was my favorite! Zip lining and horse back riding can be done in most places but it's the PEOPLE that made our day so special. Everyone was so kind and patient. My husband is a maintenance mechanic and he inspected all of the ziplines. No schotty work there! He felt totally comfortable hurling his family into ravines! The best part of our day by far was the lunch! Oh my gosh! Please get the lunch! You'll thank me. We had fried chicken, macaroni salad, red beans and rice, fried mashed potato things (yuccas maybe), grilled banana and the freshest fruit place with mango, watermelon and banana. THEN they brought out lime-aids from fresh squeezed lime. The 2 female chefs who prepared it were so very sweet. The zipline guys served us. It was the best meal I think I've ever had, truly. Then it was time to ride horses. The ride itself was nice but a little long. We had to go slow bc my deaf/blind son had his own horse and our awesome guide Ray was leading the horse with his horse so it was slow. Mom and I were sore but it was fun. There was a young man selling soap stone statues. We ended up buying 3. Then we looked at the pool area which was awesome. I'll do that next time! My best advice is: bring a lot of tip money. I wish I'd have brought more to give. They have 1 tip box and it gets split amongst everyone.

5.00Daniel the owner was wonderful. Could not get reservation so I called them directly and he was so gracious. They sent a van for us with a guide and the day was just awesome. All the guides were patient, nice and fun. WE started with the ziplines and these guys were just fantastic!! Then another 2 guides came with us for horseback riding and it was just as wonderful. At the end we were treated to a wonderful local lunch at the lodge. Food was good, the ladies were so proud and we really enjoyed. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Puerto Plata. DON'T WORRY IF YOU CAN NOT MAKE RESERVATION ONLINE, CALL THEM DIRECTLY. These people get it!!!!! REally Really enjoyed.
