Great tour with gorgeous stops. Keep in mind this tour does NOT got all the way to Hana. Still worth it though.

The road to Hana is a good trip but not as exciting as some other excursions. It's a lot of looking out the window as we pass by waterfalls and scenic overlooks. That being said, it's worth doing and some highlights were turtles sleeping on the beach, waterfalls and the opportunity to swim at one, Black Sand beach (swim), another stop with crashing waves, the Taro peninsula and a fruit stand with great banana bread. A long day... all in all we saw a lot. Our guide, Mark, was good and very knowledgable about the plant life, birds and various sights on the road. I would have liked to stop at Mama's Fish House and the Fish Tacos food truck in Hana and maybe another waterfall. In the end, you can't go to Maui and not do the road to Hana.

The Road to Hana is quite the ride. The winding road can be alot for sensitive stomachs. Our driver Marc was very observant and helpful with remedies. He also was quite knowledgeable about the area and beautiful environment. We learned so much. Kiddos to him for making this a great experience!
