The Ancient Rome tour involves Steps and a lot of walking on un-even path especially in the Roman Forum . We highly suggest flat confortable shoes. This tour is not suitable for any person with recent surgeries, with disabilities and for people in wheelchairs due to the street level , up street level and steps.

5.00We had an excellent experience on this tour! Fabrizio was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and passionate about the history of Rome. He made the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill come alive with fascinating stories and details that we never would have learned on our own. He kept the tour engaging from start to finish, answered all of our questions, and made sure everyone felt included. His recommendations and insights added so much value to our visit. We left with a much deeper appreciation for Ancient Rome and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend this tour, and if you’re lucky enough to get Fabrizio as your guide, you’re in for a fantastic experience!

5.00This tour is definitely worth the cost! We were able to see the entire Roman Forum, Palatine and Colosseum including the arena floor in two and half hours. Our guide Flavia was very knowledgeable and interesting! It was a fabulous experience and we highly recommend it!

5.00Flavia was an excellent tour guide, clearly knowledgeable, well experienced, and answered our many questions along the way. I'm very glad that we booked the guided tour as we would have missed so much of the history otherwise, and it was nice to get some of the local opinion of the history. The duration was just right -- though after the tour we did stay in the Colosseum to take some more pictures.

4.00We unfortunately had a rough tour. It was partially our fault. My relative got lost right at the beginning of the tour- just as we exited the final screening. This caused a big delay for everyone in the group and impatience for all when we finally went through the tour. Our guide was super knowledgeable, prepared, and passionate. She was very professional and caring, too. I would highly recommend her. She was just placed in a very difficult position of losing someone in the group. She did her best to help find my relative, and we felt that. Suggestions for the guides to prevent such unfortunate situations in the future: Have brighter, clearer flags. Do not take them down EVER. Just hand them to someone in the group if you need your hands free, especially if the group circles you and you personally are hard to see. Do not hide groups behind columns, stop directly next to other groups, or go to the side without stating aloud where you are going. "Over here or over to the side" are still not clear enough for people who cannot see you. Be especially careful when passing through screenings. Don't walk off to the side until everyone is out of the screening or ticket check. Also, perhaps warn the group beforehand about what will be screened, so they can be prepared and not fall behind searching for things. We expected our bags to be searched again, but it was our ticket we needed. So, we had to open bags and search for them. While searching, it was hard to see where the group went. Being at the end of the line made it so we were extra delayed in following the group. Finally, giving instructions about "if you lose the group" might also be helpful. It was a shame such a great tour was negatively impacted by getting lost.
