Arrive at Marina Puerto del Rey by 8:30 am to board the vessel by 9:00 am. Our EcoSailing voyage takes us to the islands of Piñeros or Palomino located 1-hour away from the marina. Get cozy on the catamaran's trampoline, snorkel beautiful reefs, indulge in a delicious lunch, take a refreshing dip in the sea, or simply relax at the white sandy beach. Enjoy our floating lily pad to create your own buoyant water island. Our snorkeling spots are secluded to make for a one-of-a-kind experience. As you work up an appetite exploring the reef, a delicious barbecue lunch is prepared on board with locally sourced ingredients. Savor the bright flavors of Puertorrican food with an immersive cooking class. Guests will also enjoy assorted snacks and beverages including beer, wine and sangria. We cater to small groups which make for an amazing experience on the water. We'll sail back to the marina back by 2:00 pm. Participants must be between the ages of 4 and 85. What to Bring: • Bathing suit • Towels • Sun protection IMPORTANT: Your EcoSailing charter is not private unless you paid for 6 guests or paid extra to make it private. Notify our office if you want a private charter.

Great sail, Incredible Crew, Magical Experience

5.00This day sail was incredible! We had some chop on the way out of the marina, but Captain Ricardo managed the catamaran flawlessly and ensured our safety the entire time. He was kind to share his extensive knowledge of the area when asked, and I certainly did a lot of asking! As a sailor, I was very pleased that we sailed as much as possible (this is not a motoring booze cruise on a sail boat). First mate Ashley, a real life mermaid, prepared a fantastic lunch and ensured we had beverages (sangria, Medalla, water and juice), and even swam with us a bit. To top things off, when we moored at Isla Palomina we saw a dolphin! It got even better when that same dolphin stuck around and swam with us!!! Ashley demonstrated her mermaid abilities by diving, flipping, and twisting playfully with our new friend. It was absolutely magical! Later we saw sea turtles, snorkeled a reef, and relaxed on the boat. While our group was incredibly lucky with the wildlife on this trip, I would still recommend this excursion to anyone remotely interested in sailing. I hope to sail again with Captain Ricardo and First Mate Ashley again soon!

5.00Monica and Bill made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. The food was delicious and the water crystal clear. The snorkeling luggage was in good condition and worked perfectly to appreciate the coral and fish. They have horn that you hear through the whole catamaran and it's super easy to connect to the cell phone.

5.00Memory of a lifetime visiting Isla Palominos. Scott, our guide, chef and DJ was excellent. Set all expectations very clearly, gave great background/ nature info and commentary of the region and where we were going, history etc. He prepared us a fabulous meal. Snorkeling was terrific, but global warming is taking its toll. Saw sea turtles, rays and a decent amount of fish. Was crazy relaxing. The “Janice” was a well kept boat that was sturdy, clean and maintained well. Ricardo is an experienced Captian that made us feel safe, was very communicative and was a master of the sea. We will definitely be returning. A memory of a lifetime.

5.00Our sailing trip with Puerto Rocio Sailing Trips aboard the catamaran Janice was absolutely incredible - truly one of the highlights of our time in Puerto Rico. We departed from the beautiful marina in Fajardo, and the experience felt special from the very beginning. Captain Ricardo picked us up in a golf cart and drove us to the end of the marina, where the catamaran Janice was waiting, fully stocked with food and drinks. First Mate Scott had everything perfectly prepared and ready for a fantastic day on the water. As soon as we set sail, Scott began making fresh salsa right on board as part of our lunch, such a fun and delicious touch! We cruised to a gorgeous, mostly uninhabited island with crystal-clear waters that were perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The marine life was amazing. We saw several small sea turtles and lots of colorful fish. The boat was well-equipped with pool noodles, floats, and even a large floating water mat to relax on between swims. After snorkeling, we enjoyed a freshly grilled lunch right on the boat, delicious grilled chicken, a fresh salad, and the homemade salsa and rice. Everything was prepared fresh and tasted fantastic. We then visited another stunning location where we were able to swim ashore to a beautiful white powder sand beach. We had plenty of time to relax, explore, and swim at our own pace. We even made one more stop around the corner for another swim before heading back. On the return trip, they raised the sails, and we sailed back to the marina, the perfect ending to a perfect day. There were five of us on board (the boat holds six), so it felt like a private charter. Captain Ricardo and Scott were incredibly accommodating and let us customize the day to do exactly what we wanted. They were friendly, professional, and made sure we were comfortable and having fun the entire time. We would highly recommend this trip, this boat, and this crew to anyone visiting Puerto Rico. It was a truly memorable experience that we will be talking about for years to come!

5.00An unbelievable day! Communication from after booking all the way through departure was great. Ashley and Ricardo were fantastic - very personable and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious and the boat was beautiful and clean. We hope to be back and would highly recommend this company and crew!

5.00Perfect way to sail into New Year with great snorkeling, sights, delicious food on a comfortable boat with amazing crew! My family of 4 really enjoyed our snorkeling trip to Palominos and Palominitos island. We saw sea turtles, parrot fish and even a giant barracuda. The food from morning into afternoon was delicious. Captain Ricardo and Monica were incredibly attentive. Monica even overheard it was someone’s birthday and setup the table to celebrate! We would highly recommend this trip especially if you are looking for a smaller less crazy than typical party boat snorkeling vibe (only 6 guests can go) so you can go at your own pace.

Great Sailing to Isle Palomino

5.00It was a 32 m catamaran and we sailed with another family of four. So the boat size was great for this group. It was a casual setting, Captain Ricardo and Scott were great, explained everything well. The snorkeling equipment was clean and looked new. Food was satisfactory and delicious. It was our first time, so a car picked us up from the parking lot and we didn’t have to walk or look for the catamaran. We went to one island, Isle Palomino, had food there than enjoyed the beautiful see. There wasn’t much to see under the sea when it compares to red sea corals, however a couple of sea turtles and a stingray made it special. We loved the tour and booked it again for this Sunday!

5.00It was a perfect day spent on the water.. We had the trip to ourselves. Even if it had booked the max is 6 which is so much nicer than the overcrowded other tours. The food and drinks were also wonderful. I would recommend this to anyone considering a catamaran trip
