My name is Luis, I am an Economist and worked as a consultant for more than 20 years. One day, I decided to trade the office for my true passion : sailing and enjoying nature, especially the sea.
I have been sailing since I was 10 days old, a passion I inherited from my family, and I love sharing my knowledge of the sea and navigation with those who join me on board.
Since moving to Colombia with my family, I have had the chance to discover Tayrona National Park from a perspective few people know : from the sea. It’s a unique experience we want to share with you.
We are bilingual (Spanish and English) and love to chat, share local stories, and create unforgettable memories. We will take you to live a truly unforgettable day.
The experience is led by myself, Luis, or one of my team members.

At 11 :00 am we will board the Artivela, our sailboat, and set course for our destination, Bahía Concha in Tayrona National Park. The sail to our destination will take approximately 1.5 hours. During the trip, we will share interesting stories and curiosities about the park and its people. We’ll also set up our fishing rods along the way. We will pass in front of the bays of Taganga and Garnet, and then begin the famous passage by Isla Aguja, the only island in Tayrona National Park. Once we pass the island, we will enter Bahía Concha and try to anchor as close to the beach as possible. Our guests can choose to swim, walk along the beach, snorkel, or simply sunbathe on the boat. You will also enjoy a fresh fish dish grilled right on board. Around 3 : 45 pm we will begin our return to Santa Marta. We will sail back, and everyone is welcome to participate. Arrival at the marina will be around 5:00 pm. Tayrona National Park is CLOSED from February 1st to 15th, in June, and from October 19th to November 2nd — but we keep sailing on an alternative route!

Lovely relaxing way to spend a day

4.00The day was compromised as the park beaches were inaccessible. The tour was therefore adjusted and so not as beautiful as we’d hoped but still great fun with a lovely crew. Sadly Luis couldn’t come and we would have liked to sail more as only one small sail was used and the motor never turned off. Food was great and plenty of it and safety taken seriously. A varied and relaxed day with the chance to snorkel. There’s only 1 kayak but we were only a group of 10 so all got to meet each other.

5.00It was the best tour of Santa Marta! It is an excellent crew team on a divine boat!! The navigation the all day ride, the constant and careful attention to all the passengers, the exquisite lunch cooked by Adrian a top chef, more drinks and fruits throughout the ride, Captain Stivel a genius at everything he does and explains, also helping everyone to go down swimming or kayaking that the boat itself has. The beaches we visited very nice! I recommend it as the best of Santa Marta! Luis received us in the Navy on time and gave us a complete information of the ride. Compared to other excursions that are not punctual very bad transport those that leave the reel (a horrible place) are chaos and deplorable boats , Luis' boat is a very nice and comfortable boat that leaves the Marina de Santa Marta a beautiful place! Congratulations to Luis and his crew of excellence, Stivel, Abraham and Adrian I give you 1000 points!!!!! Amazing! 👏👏👏👏👏

5.00Great experience overall, would’ve like a bit more “story telling “ about the beautiful sights in both languages, the snorkeling experience could be better placed rather than having one straight swim to the shore line, guides were really kind and friendly at all times, great people!

5.00We really enjoyed this tour although it was completely in Spanish and we were not always sure what we were being told. Another guest helped us with some information. We sat at the front of the boat and the waves were very big. We were absolutely soaked by the time we arrived at the beach and laughed through it all. One thing to know is that you must rent a chair there for 10000 cop. The meals were good. I had the fish and it was fresh and tasty. The water was beautiful and refreshing for a swim. We didnt sail to the beach but they put up the jib for a short time on the way back with the motor still doing most of the work. Im not sure if that is the norm or if it was because of wind. There are some snacks and drinks offered as well during the trip. They have a paddle board that you can use and they will also take you for a short snorkeling trip nearby after the lunch. I would recommend this tour

2.00This tour was disappointing. You get taken to one super busy beach and stay there for the whole day, there is no shade on the boat and not much on the beach unless you pay for it. We were the only English speakers (but with enough Spanish to understand basic instructions) and were ignored and given no information all day. Also, if you use the bathroom make sure someone comes to let you out because there is no way to open the toilet door from the inside.
