5.00This was my first activity in Osaka and I absolutely loved it! The tour guide did a fantastic job keeping us engaged and telling us about the local food and culture. Highly recommend!

2.00My family and I were hoping for an authentic local experience but what we got was far from it. Our guide, Gil, didn't know the area very well and had to use the maps function on his phone several times. Two of the places he tried to take us to were closed. He wasn't very good at reading the energy of the group and took us to a spot we were not comfortable. He was very keen to eat a lot of the food and then push the bill our way. We very much hoped for a Osakan local but that was not the case. We tried to maintain high hopes that the tour would get better but it never did. With the same guide, I would not recommend this tour to anyone. It's unfortunate we did not have the same experience as some of the 4/5-star reviews of this same tour.

5.00I am traveling alone and joined the group tour to connect with people also visiting. Shiho was our guide- her English was amazing and it was so easy to understand her. She also helped by teaching me some Japanese phrases to use- itadakimasu! She selected food options that felt intimate and carefully chosen but also affordable. She chose food items for our group that were 10/10 every time. She was so friendly, flexible, and took us to get taiyaki when I requested we go there. I would do another tour with Shiho any day of the week :)

5.00My husband and I did a tour with Shehab. We were the only two who signed up for this day, so he really catered to our desires. We enjoyed every stop on the tour! He was so knowledgeable about Osaka food and it helped to much to have a bilingual Japanese- English speaker to guide us. Would highly recommend. A highlight of our time in Osaka!

4.00We picked this Osaka food tour as it was to be with a local guide. Our guide was definitely local (as he lives in Osaka) although not from Japan. This said, Gil was a great tour guide and took us to a variety of places to experience different types of local foods. He was very knowledgeable about the area, foods, and customs. This is a 4 star review simply because the tour advertised that there would be a local tour guide -- which implies someone who is Japanese. This was not the case. Nevertheless, Gil was a great guide!

5.00We had a really great time on the food tour. Mayuka was our guide and she went out of her way to help make it a great experience. When we asked for something that was not on the planned tour, Mayuka made it happen.

5.00I did a last minute local food crawl with Buchi and it was a great experience. The best part is going to the mom and pop locations that are not filled with tourists so you get the best authentic experience. Loved it and Buchi was company and guide.

5.00Me and my wife had a fantastic time. Our guide Satsuki was phenomenal and absolutely lovely. The food was superb and the guide was so conversational it was like having a night out with a friend we'd known forever! 20/10 would recommend and use this company again!!
