Learn a new sport, Sandboarding, and as a bonus, get to know one of the most beautiful regions of La Paz El Mogote, the beautiful city still has regions to be discovered. We will drive to El Mogote until we access the Dunes permanent preservation area west side of the city. You will practice surfing in the Dunes, equipped with sand boards. Your guide will teach you the basic safety techniques and descend with the boards, the difficulty levels vary according to the size and inclination of the dunes, as you improve the technique exploring new challenges. Sandboard, Surf in the sand, is an amazing mix of Surf, Skate and Snowboard, a fun activity and full of ages. This itinerary does not require previous experience, venture with us!

Sandboarding is a boardsport similar to snowboarding that involves riding across or down a sand dune while standing on a board, either with both feet strapped in or while standing loose, without bindings. Sandboarding can also be practiced sitting down or lying on the belly or the back.

5.00Very good attention, explanations and experience. Yes, it does feel somewhat brief and sometimes the dunes are not very large but that is out of the hands of the agency. For their part, the equipment they rent is in excellent condition and the guide (Gera) was very friendly all the time. He also gave us very good local recommendations of places to eat and visit. We highly recommend, thank you very much to Gera for her attentions.

5.00It was very funny, Gera (who accompanied us) is very friendly and was telling us a lot about La Paz. In the end we had some time left over and took us to a very nice beach and if you want to know about food or places in La Paz he can help them.

5.00Great time going down the dunes on the sand board. Gerardo, my guide, was awesome and super friendly. Was also very accommodating with any picture/video requests. Fun activity for the active type.

5.00Amazing! Soooooooo much fun! Gerard really went out of his way to make it a superb experience on all levels. Communicative, friendly, genuine, funny! Not only we went to the dunes and got a crash course on sand-boarding, but then we got taken to a local beach with spectacular views of the mountains and the city to swim and wash away the heat and the sand. Simply perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting La Paz!

5.00Great staff! The guys here were amazing and so nice. Definitely recommend them. We did sand boarding and road around on the trails it was awesome! Be sure to bring sneakers pants and long shirt everything gets sandy!
The dunes an exciting trip and sandboarding experience that we must live. Super safe and recommended without hesitation and with eyes

5.00We had an awesome afternoon with 4xFour Tours — driving an ATV through the Mogote dunes is an absolute blast, and there’s also a really cool stretch that goes among these giant tree-like cactuses. We stopped at a high dune — 360 degree view around the whole natural park and out over the sea — and our guide David gave us helpful instructions on how to get started sandboarding, which was really fun too. Altogether, we highly recommend this ATV and sandboarding tour and we highly recommend this company. David was great, and the people at the office were very helpful in arranging (and when our plans changed, rearranging) our tour and pick up at hotel. 5 stars for sure!
